RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

RESPIRATION
1. It is a process by which oxygen reaches
the body cells and is utilized for metabolism
and carbon dioxide formed as a waste
product is eliminated in the body.

BREATHING
2. It is a process of inspiration and
expiration that happens due to pressure
changes in the thoracic cavity.

NASAL CAVITY
3. It is composed of ciliated cells that are
capable of producing mucus.

PHARYNX
4. It is the area in the back of oral cavity
where the nasal cavity joins in.

LARYNX
5. It is a cartilaginous, boxlike structure
that provides a passageway for air
between the pharynx and the trachea.
TRACHEA
6. It is a cartilage-ringed tube used to
conduct air from the pharynx deeper into
the respiratory system.

BRONCHI
7.These are the branch form the end of
the trachea and lead to two lungs. It is
also ringed with the cartilage and line
with ciliated mucus membrane.

ALVEOLI
8. These are tiny air sacs found at the end
of each of the bronchioles. It is the
functional units of the lung and is
surrounded by capillaries.

LUNGS
9. These are composed of the bronchi,
bronchioles, alveoli, and their supporting
tissues. They are roughly cone-shaped and
are separated from each other by the
mediastinum and the heart.

BRONCHITIS
10. It is the inflammation of the bronchi,
and it is characterized by excessive
mucus production that partially
obstructs air flow.
NERVOUS SYSTEM

1. Draw the human nervous system.

2. Draw the parts of the neuron.

3. Draw the
different lobes of
the brain.
