The “Get My Ad Account Back” Protocol

(What to Do If Facebook Bans Your Account)
Don't get attached to your advert accounts.
Shut downs might happen regardless.
 Some Terms to Understand:

(1) Facebook Profile – This is your normal free Facebook account . The one you opened
at facebook.com that every other Facebook user has access to.

(2) Advert Accounts – The advert account is where you run your advert from. You can
have more than one advert account.

(3) Business Manager – The business manager is what houses all your advert accounts.
You need a Facebook profile to create a Business Manager account. You use your
Facebook username and password to sign in to Business Manager.

1 business manager can have up to 100 advert accounts.

You can have 2 business managers in a FB profile.

 4 Types of Facebook Ban

(1) Ban of Ad Account(s) – For policy violations

(2) Ban of Business Manager – For multiple and serious policy violations

(3) Restriction of Facebook Profile – When Facebook is tired with your activities on their
profile

(4) IP Ban (The IP from computer/internet) – This is the worst case scenario.
 PREPARE – Before Facebook Bans Your Account:

NOTE: Don’t Wait Until FB Bans Your Ad Account.

Prepare for it by getting the following:

(1) Back-Up Accounts in your name (More on this later)

(2) Backup accounts from your friends and family who don’t need their accounts for
adverts.

(3) Ways of getting new debit/credit cards to use for your new ad accounts
 What to Do If Facebook Bans Your Account
1. Appeal to get your ad account back – This works for advert account and business
manager restrictions.

2. Use a new advert account - Ideally, FB gives you just 1 account within a business
manager but once you have spent at least $25, they increase it to 5 and it keep inv. As
long as the business manager is available, you can use any of these ad accounts.

3. Create a new business manager – Each Facebook account can have 2 business
managers. So, if the first business manger gets blocked, then you can open another one
on the same profile.

4. Borrow someone’s FB profile – Do this if your business mangers and FB profile are
restricted.

5. Open and Nurture a New FB profile - Do this if your business managers and FB profile
are restricted.

6. Things That Might Be Needed: Get a new SIM – Or Get a VPN – New debit cards

How to Craft The Perfect Appeal Message For Facebook
to Reactivate Your Account:
METHOD A: Follow this approach below:

1. Apologize

2. Let them know you read through the policy guidelines

3. Tell them what specifically violated the policy

4. Take full responsibility

5. Tell them how you are going to fix it

6. Ask what additional steps you can take to get your account reactivated

 Example of Appeal Message to Facebook:
“Dear Facebook Review Team,

Thank you for this notification but I believe our Business Account has been disabled by mistake as none of our
ads violate Facebook policy.

Before we started using the platform, the team went through the Facebook ad violation policies. And we did our
best keep up with your policies

We would gladly suggest that our ad account is been carefully checked and re-activated as we promise to
maintain and never to purposely violate any of the Facebook Ad policy

Also, we are open to receive suggestions and advice that will help avoid a situation like this in the future.

 What to Do If FB Revokes Your Advertising Access

This means restricting your FB profile from advertising.

- Connect to 4G on your phone

- Open incognito on your browser

- Open a new Gmail account (your short name + numbers) – E.g. tyomot12@gmail.com

- Open a new Facebook profile (on the incognito browser)

- Use the same name and birthday

- Take a selfie of yourself and use as profile picture

- Like different things and add some friends

- Let the new profile sit for up to 3 weeks

- Create a new profile every day*

 If FB Bans Your Profile (Your Name & Pix)

- Borrow another person’s profile and create a business manager

from their account – business.facebook.com

- Get the authority of someone to use their profile to create new FB

accounts like in the last slide – Family, friends, employees
 If FB Bans Your IP

- Get a new sim card (MTN/Etisalat) and use the new line to access
FB

- Get a strong VPN (Tor Guard - https://torguard.net )

 OTHER PRECAUTIONS:

- Use different browsers to login to different Fb profiles.

- Login to your business manager from business.facebook.com

- Don’t use a debit card that has been blocked on a new FB advert account

- Make it easy for FB to collect their money or Pay off your Facebook debt
quickly.

- Always delete disapproved ads from you rad manager.

- For every disapproved ad, create 2 approved ads
