Lord Siva always

Difference
between Kama
and Prema
The difference between kāma
and prema is described. Kāma means
trying to enjoy one’s own senses and prema is
trying to satisfy Kṛṣṇa’s senses. So, Kṛṣṇa-prema
means trying to satisfy the senses of Kṛṣṇa. When
we think we are the body, then we are trying to
satisfy the senses of the body, and in this way, we
are captured by the illusory energy.

many offences to the dhāma-vāsīs and the
Vaiṣṇavas. How can I be forgiven for this?”
So then Lord Nityānanda said, “You build in the
month of Jyeṣṭha, month of May, you build
a bathing ghāta, and all the people will
bathe using your ghāṭa and you
will be forgiven.”

We should
react if we hear or witness
Vaishnava Aparadha
In the previous verse of
Caitanya-bhāgavata, many people did not
immediately react, but here in Caitanya-
caritāmṛta the Majumdaras and the others
reacted. So, this is a good sign that we
should react if we hear or witness a Vaiṣṇava
aparādha. So, when one witnesses a
Vaiṣṇava aparādha, they should take
immediate steps so that they will not get the
resultant bad influence.

Affected by leprosy
for committing Vaishnava Aparadha
We know that Navadvīpa is the audārya-dhāma, the land of mercy. But still Lord Caitanya would
not tolerate Vaiṣṇava-aparādhā. Cāpāla Gopāla committed an offence to Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura. As a
result, Cāpāla Gopāla was affected by leprosy. One day, Lord Caitanya, He went near where
Cāpāla Gopāla stayed. Cāpāla Gopāla paid obeisances to Lord Caitanya and said, “You are
magnanimous, kindly have mercy on me”. “NO! NO! You have committed an offence to My
devotee, You will burn in hell. You will burn in hell due to your offence, unless you get forgiven
by Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura, I will not forgive you.” said Lord Caitanya. So then some devotees went to
Śrīvās Thakura and asked him to forgive Capala Gopal.

Terrible
for illicit and
hells
indiscriminate
sex life
The 5th canto of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam,
26th chapter is about some hells – 28 hells.
Of course, it says that there are lakhs of
hells. Some of the architects who are sinful,
they are engaged by Yamarāja to design
special hells! So one of the hells is for
people who have kind of indiscriminate sex
life. Like a śimula tree which has thorns, the
thorns are strong like thunderbolts. And in
that hell, you are dragged down through
the tree and torn into pieces. And for
ordinary illicit sex - a woman will to
embrace a red hot iron man and similarly a
man will embrace a red hot iron woman,
and burn. They go to the hell called Tāmisra
and they are tortured by Yamadūtas. And if
they do this by some deception, they go to
Andha-tāmisra hell. They are tortured so
bad that they go blind. They lose their
intelligence, and they are tortured. So you
can read about these hell, but by following
the four regulative principles you are freed
from these hells.

Husband was caught going
to a prostitute when Srila
Prabhupada was there
And it says between husband and wife, their
relation is considered a type of celibacy. So, I
was present once, in Śrīla Prabhupāda’s time,
when a husband was caught going to a
prostitute. Śrīla Prabhupāda said to him, “You
are a gṛhastha, why are you going to a
prostitute?” And he said that the wife is for
having children, but I wanted more sex than
that, so I went to a prostitute. Śrīla
Prabhupāda said that, “If you have a relation
with your wife there is no sinful reaction, but if
you go to a prostitute you are committing
sin”. In the 5th canto it says that husband and
wife, their life is celibacy. If you want to have
pure bhakti then the goal is to have
relationship only for children. But in any case,
there is no sin. We should avoid all forms of
illicit sex, that means sex that is not between
husband and wife.
Have to go
to jail for child abuse
Even in Navadvīpa dhāma which is the
audārya-dhāma, we should be free of any
Vaiṣṇava-aparādhā. As they say that zero
tolerance of any Vaiṣṇava-aparādhā. So, we
have heard how in the past, maybe there
was some kind of abuse of our children.
Actually, in Māyāpur we should have zero
tolerance for this, this is also Vaiṣṇava-
aparādhā. From now if some child is abused
then immediately then the authorities should
file a case. The complaint has to be made to
the police by the authorities. If the
authorities do not do that, then they have to
go to jail for six months.So, Māyāpur dhāma
we are no. 1 in saṅkīrtana, big temple, but
we should be zero in offence. Now, I don’t
know what the law is for violence, but
anyway we should have zero tolerance for
domestic violence.
 Caitanya Lila is like a
stick of sugar cane
A stick of sugarcane wherever you bite
into it produces sweet juice. So,
similarly, Lord Caitanya's pastimes are
sweet from beginning to end.

Lord Caitanya’s
associates are all special
Lord Caitanya's associates are
all very special, they demonstrated
different aspects of pure love for Krsna.
And among them, Rāmānanda Rāya was
very special and He extended Kṛṣṇa-
prema to deliver. Therefore, we can
understand that Lord Caitanya descended
from Goloka Vṛndāvana with various
transcendental associates.

We should glorify others

Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja is offering his humble prayers to
Lord Caitanya, we should take his example and offer
humble prayers and glorify others. He offered his
submission to Lord Caitanya, he was very happy to have
received Lord Caitanya's shelter.

Hearing about lord Krishna is

the supreme success of life
To hear the topics of Lord Kṛṣṇa is a rare
blessing, actually hearing about Lord Kṛṣṇa
is real perfection of life. Rāmānanda Rāya
having prasāda, and Rāghava Paṇḍita was
is expert in discussing the topics of Lord
Kṛṣṇa. Lord Caitanya had said being a
human being born in India, you should
achieve your spiritual success and then
help others. So hearing about the topics of
Kṛṣṇa is the supreme success in life.
I was thinking this!
I was thinking if they had described any
general person, Dipak Bose or someone
sat and had prasāda, we will not feel any
happiness. But reading and hearing Lord
Nityānanda and Lord Caitanya were
serving Them, I felt so much happiness! I
don’t know, the other persons were also
feeling happiness, I think they were.
Everything that the Lord does is spiritual,
therefore observing the Lord’s pastimes,
His qualities is all spiritual.

I hope devotees
attend Mangal Arthik
So many come to Māyāpur but
they seldom attend or contribute
to these programs. When I was
overseeing the construction, I was
on double shifts from 6 am to
midnight. Two shifts. Workers
used to work one shift but in two
groups. Śrīla Prabhupāda said that
I should at least attend Śrīla
Prabhupāda’s guru-pūjā, that
would be sufficient. I see Hṛdaya
Caitanya, Braja Vilāsa every day
One book
made five devotees
So, we should study Śrīla Prabhupāda’s
books and that is our hearing. And we
distribute books, that is our kīrtana.
Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura
called that ‘bṛhad-mṛdaṅga’. Greater
mṛdaṅga. Here we can do kīrtana, those
who come, they can hear. But if we
distribute books here then that will go
far and wide. His Holiness Bhakti
Nityānanda Swami, who left his body in
Māyāpur dhāma, he or someone in his
family, purchased a book. And as a
result, that book was lying in their
house and many people read it. His
Holiness Bhakti Nityānanda Swami and
Mukunda dāsa, the temple president
in Telangana, one book,
which five devotees at
least were made.

Do I get
attend maṅgala-ārati. I hope that
all the devotees there will be so

much crowd that we won’t have
place left. We will have to move to

if my servants do what
I don’t want?
What do I do, how I could not remember a time when I lost my temper like that! So,
do I control my but there must have been a time long ago! But I said that we
anger when my commit so many offences to Kṛṣṇa, knowingly or unknowingly,
servants do not do we want Kṛṣṇa to forgive us. So, like that if we don’t forgive
what I want? others, then how can we expect Kṛṣṇa to forgive us?

 Your question, what is the root reason
for your question? If one hates another
person that is an offence. If such kind
of hatred or violence is not there, then
why should it be considered an
offence? This way, if we see the good
qualities in others, if we praise them,
then how will be commit offence? If we
are intolerant of the different qualities
of people, then there is possibility of
offences. If you see an offence to
Vaiṣṇavas or guru then you need to get
angry. Just like Kṛṣṇa, if you offend
Him, He usually forgives you. But if you
offend His devotee, He is very angry.

Ekadasi glories
On this sacred day one should worship Lord Narayana, for He is its ruling
Deity. One should do so by follow the previously described method of
fasting. Just as among snakes Shesha-naga is the best, and among birds
Garuda is the best, among sacrifices the Ashvamedha-yajna is the best,
among rivers Mother Ganges is the best, among gods Lord Vishnu is best,
and among two-legged beings the brahmins are the best, so among all
fasting days Ekadasi is by far the best. O foremost of kings who took your
birth in the Bharata dynasty, whoever strictly observes Ekadasi becomes
very dear to Me and indeed worshipable by Me in every way.

O Yudhisthira, one who approaches Me as Lumpaka did will become

completely free of lamentation and anxiety. Indeed, anyone who properly
observes this glorious Saphalaa Ekadasi - even unknowingly, like Lumpaka -
Pausha-krishna will become famous in this world. He will become perfectly liberated at
Ekadasi death and return to the spiritual abode of Vaikuntha. Of this there is no
is also known doubt. Moreover, one who simply hears the glories of Saphala Ekadasi
obtains the same merit derived by one who performs a Rajasurya-yajna, and
as Saphala
at the very least he goes to heaven in his next birth, so where is the loss?
