We know that this pandemic is due to breaking the laws of nature, breaking the laws of
God. Therefore, different things will happen to people. Therefore, we should be very
careful. And we should encourage all the people to chant the names of Krishna.

DON'T BE A FLY
In the third verse of the Siksastakam, it says
we should be more humble than a straw on the
street, more tolerant than a day. We should
offer all respect to others, and not expect any
respect for ourselves. In this way, we can
constantly chant the Hare Krsna maha
mantra. I think if you try this when someone
mistreats you or insults you, you respond with
praise and appreciation, rather than becoming
agitated or angry. As they say, it takes two
hand to clap. You don’t clap with your other
person’s conflicts, you be very humble and in
this way you can avoid conflicts. Even if you
feel insulted, maybe you have insulted
someone else and you are getting your karma -
previously life or in this life. So like that you
are burning out some karma and instead try to
find their good qualities -  thank you prabhu,
thank you for pointing my defect, I will be
working on it. Actually a real friend tells us
what to do. Praise him or her, and don’t take
whatever they say serious. Or maybe it is true,
you can simply find the defect in yourself and

TAKING HAVISANNA
Taking havisanna is not a great austerity.
Doing such things are minimal austerities.
So we can do some things, we fast on the
Krsna Janamastami, on Gaura Purnima,
on the day of our spiritual master, until
noon, on the guru’s appearance day, and
other Visnu tattvas, according to the time
and day they appear. So minimum, we
don’t take any grains, cereals or pulses. It
simply says that if you chant the names of
Visnu, Rama, Krsna, Padmanabha, then
we get special mercy. So you should chant
Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare
Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama
Hare! We do that anyway. We get all the
benefits of the different days, Ekadasi, etc.
But new people if they observe Ekadasi, it
will be a special awakening for them.
DEPEND ON GURU AND
KRISHNA AND SEE THAT
THEY WILL RECIPROCATE
We have faith in so many things. We have
faith in mundane things. Why don’t we have
faith in God and the spiritual master? We
should convince ourselves to believe in
Bhagavan and gurudeva. Just like why do you
believe that the ground will not cave in? By
walking you have some faith that you will not
sink it. Like that, depend on guru and Krsna
you will see that They reciprocate.
PRAYING TO GURU AND
KRISHNA EVERY DAY
It would be good if you write me once a
month or something, a summary. But if you
want to pray every day to guru and Krṣṇa,
it is alright.

I WILL BE MORE HAPPY IF YOU

HAVE TASTE
It is nice if you think that you are doing for the guru’s
happiness. But I will be very happy when you do it
and have a taste. Before that, you can do it to please
me, but I will be more pleased when you do it and
actually have a taste for it.

IF YOU WANT TO FORGET KRISHNA

If we want to forget Krsna, then Krsna gives us the ability
to forget Him. If we want to always remember Krsna,
then He gives us the intelligence to come to Him. So,
since you say you voluntarily surrender to maya. If you
desire that you want to do every as a service to Krsna,
then He will give you such intelligence.

 DON'T TREAT VAISHNAVAS CARELESSLY
You should be very careful not to do any bad things to
others, especially devotees. We also advise the
husbands that they should not mistreat their vaisnavi
wives, because that is a vaisnava aparadha. So that
will go for everyone. But dealing with vaisnavas, it is
more serious. For ordinary people, it is a kind of sin,
but with vaisnavas it is an aparadha. So we should
very careful not to treat vaisnavas carelessly.

TREAT LORD SHIVA WITH

RESPECT
The devas headed by Maheśa, Mahādeva,
they are all devotees of the Lord . Lord
Caitanya is reciprocating and offering
Maheśa his humble obeisances, although, He
is the Lord of Maheśa. He is acting as devotee
to teach us we should also respect Śiva and
other devas even though we don’t want any
material benediction from them but we
respect them as servitors of the Lord.

BE THE SERVANT OF A
SERVANT
Lord Caitanya said, that gopi bhartur
pada kamala yor dasa dasa anudasa. So
He said, He was the servant of the
servant of the servant. So, Lord Caitanya
is known as the Visva Vaisnava Raja. He
came to show by His own example, how
to be a devotee. So He said, that He was
a servant of the servant of the servant.
So yes, we should follow that example.
YOURSELF OF FALSE EGO
I don’t know if one is chanting, but they are
committing offences, how effective it will be
to overcome false ego. We know that by
helping others to be Krṣṇa conscious, that
makes the chanting more purified. So, Śrīla
Prabhupāda encouraged us to chant 16
rounds and then preach. So just chanting
more rounds without preaching, is not
necessarily so effective. Rather to help
others advance in Krṣṇa consciousness,
while chanting, is the best.

Guru Maharaja has been virtually visiting various places non stop. In the recent past he has visited East
London, Solvang, California, various parts of North America, Latin America, Madurai, Chennai,
Bengaluru, different parts of Bengal, Nepal, Bangladesh and the list goes on. His routine is packed
starting with Mangal arthik darshana, correspondence, administrative meetings, TOVP meetings,
counselling sessions, Chaitanya Lila Classes and virtual home and temple visits. It is a lot for our spiritual
master is above the age of 70, has had a stroke and major transplant surgeries. Gopathi Krishna das
prabhu was recalling that how even after a session with youth devotees was cancelled owing to the fact
that Guru Maharaja was very tiered, Guru Maharaja still went ahead and did a virtual Q and A session.

"We lament in separation, the departure of HG

Mahateja das Adhikari. He left his body today
morning in Pelam Estate, Malaysia. He joined
ISKCON in the early 1980s in northern
Malaysia.He was one of the pioneer devotees,
who helped to establish Krsna consciousness in
the northern region of Malaysia. He was
mentoring many devotees in Pelam Estate,
which was one of the first places, we had Krsna
consciousness, in the north. There was a temple
there of Sita, Rama, Laksmana and Hanuman,
which was somewhat neglected. Then, he took
responsibility and fixed the temple up. He made
an ISKCON centre in Pelam Estate. He
maintained the temple for the past 35 years,
almost alone. Beautiful deities of Sita Rama
Laksmana and Hanuman – regular worship and
painting.We request all the devotees, to pray
for his successful, onward journey to the
spiritual world."

RECOGNISING VARIOUS
DEVOTEES
I have been thinking how Srila Prabhupada
wanted to recognize devotees for
performing different services. And how
managers are getting lot of the focus. But
pujaris, goshala, preachers, etc. they are all
doing good services and should all be
recognized. Trying to think of different
names to recognize them. I was thinking that
this aspect to recognize people, devotees,
especially disciples, and also to see that
everyone studies Srila Prabhupada’s books
very systematically, and takes advantage of
the degree programs that are available, is
something important for the future.

MAYAPUR VISION
A vision of Mayapur was discussed and need for having
a unified vision based on Srila Prabhupada’s teachings
was presented.

MALAYSIAN BOOK OF RECORDS

On 1st of November, we observed a special
inauguration of the Damodara month and we had
people login from all over the world, to get a certificate
from the Malaysia Book of Records. And we made a
Malaysian National Record, 6538 participants! So, here
is attached a video, which explains a little bit about that
program, and the technical team that made it possible!

 Glories of Rama Ekadasi
The Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna then spoke as follows
"O lion among kings, please listen as I narrate to you. The Ekadasi that
occurs during the dark part of the month of Karttika is called Rama
Ekadasi. It is most auspicious, for it at once eradicates the greatest
sins and awards one the passage to the spiritual abode.
Anyone who simply hears this narration of the glories of the
sacred day of Rama Ekadasi, is freed from all kinds of sin
and attains the supreme abode of Lord Vishnu.

Your humility is

Says Lord Chaitanya

So we should try to appreciate how great is the mercy that
Lord Caitanya’s given and how unqualified anyone in this
material world is, especially someone born in the modern
world where spiritual life is practically nil. And this
specifically is His dispensation and if we take that humble
attitude, almost immediately you can experience drops of
pure ecstasy which will flood out your existence in pure
love for Krishna, or ecstatic devotion for Krishna.

Vaishnava
tolerates offences
To himself but not to Lord or
other vaishnavas
Devotee: A Vaishnava is equal to both friend and enemy. So
how come Advaita Acarya asks Lord Caitanya to not give mercy
to the proud and envious?

Jayapataka Maharaj: That also is His mercy. Of course Advaita, He Himself is the Lord. Actually Advaita,
Nitai and Lord Caitanya, all three of Them are the Lord in different forms for different purposes. Advaita
wanted that everyone should get the opportunity, even those who are ordinarily missing the chance.
But especially He mentions that Chakravartis, the Mishras, those who were the high caste priestly
people, but who are always inimical to Lord Caitanya. Because a devotee cannot tolerate when someone
is inimical to the Lord...The Lord cannot tolerate when someone is inimical to the devotee and a devotee
cannot tolerate when someone is inimical to the Lord. Actually those proud people, they don’t want
Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mercy so they are not getting. But those who are not proud, they want some
type of relief, they want some type of answers to their problems. So Advaita, He didn’t want that they
should get just a part solution. They should get more than they expected, the highest gift of life. By not
giving mercy to the proud people, this is forcing the people who are proud to give up their false position.
By giving up their false position they can achieve perfection. Why should we mislead people and tell
them that if they maintain a false position they can be happy? But even one is unfortunate (otherwise he
is not qualified even to worship God) but somehow or other at least he is a little humble and he has a
desire, he can get the mercy. That is unequaled in all history. A Vaishnava can tolerate all types of
offences to himself but he cannot tolerate offences to the Lord or to other Vaishnavas.
