The Visor-Ex 01 suits both left as right eye dominant wearers. If you want to determine
which eye is your dominant eye, we've got the perfect exercise for you.
Just follow the steps in this video above to find out what eye is your dominant one.
Now that you know which eye is the dominant one, you can adjust the heads-up display to
your liking.
You could use the website 'GSM Arena', and search for your phone model. This webpage holds
all information you will need to check through this guide.
Connector type
As an Android user there are a few different topics worth considering when selecting a fitting
smartphone or checking to see if your device will work with your Visor-Ex 01.
First step to consider is the connector type of your phone. Make sure you have a phone with
an USB-C type connector. Other connector types won't work.
As an extra it's important to check if the connector USB-C type has Host mode and OTG (On-
The-Go) support. However this is not always indicated and could need some deeper digging
online to validate this feature.
Chipset
Your Visor-Ex 01 work best with a few brands/models of CPU's (Central Processing Unit). We've
noticed that some brands/models do not support the features of the glasses all that well.
Therefore we created a list out of our experience with trustworthy chipsets. If your device holds
one of these, that's perfect.
Qualcomm - Snapdragon
Samsung - Exynos
Android version
Make sure your Android device has at least Android 8 installed on the phone. Android 8 or
higher is perfect.
That's it!
There are several ways to check the battery status of your Visor-Ex 01 and the connection status.
1. By the LED on the pocket unit; The LED on the pocket unit is dark blue if only the pocket unit is
connected to the phone and initialised properly by the Iristick Services. It will turn bright
blue when the headset is also connected.
2. By the Iristick logo in the notification bar: Only the outer ring of the Iristick logo is shown when
only the pocket unit is connected to the phone and initialised properly by the Iristick Services.
The full logo is shown when the headset is also connected.
