Release 1.1.0
The following changes have been made:
Release 1.0
This is the first official release of the Tecnam P92 Echo Classic 100Hp for MSFS made by erasam
Features
The Tecnam P92 Echo Classic model has a fully animated and realistic 3D cockpit, with different internal
views available for the Pilot, Copilot, Close and Landing
Switching between the available views can be done using the standard MSFS In-game Toolbar or with the
provided keyboard shortcuts
Note: copilot view has been designed hiding the copilot model, if present
Instruments views can also be chosen to focus on the different gauges, levers and knobs available in the 3D
cockpit
Three hotspot screws (in the center of the cockpit) can be used to hide the co-pilot, to hide the glass
cockpit and to switch between the Aera 510 and the GTN750 (https://pms50.com/msfs/) GPS systems.
Notes:
- Copilot hide/show hotspot screw and Copilot model are available only if the front passenger weight
is set greater than 0 in the Weight and Balance screen
- hotspot screw to switch between the Aera 510 and the GTN750 GPS systems is shown only if
GTN750 has been installed
Hotspot screws are also placed near VOR1 gauge to hide it, near RPM gauge to switch between Engine or
Propeller indicator, near Airspeed gauge to switch between Knots or KM indicator and near the Flap
Indicator to switch between two alternative gauges
Any available hotspot setting is saved at the end of each flight and restored automatically at the beginning
of a new flight
All the gauges, levers, knobs and hotspots shown in the different views provide a tooltip (if enabled in the
Assistance menu of MSFS) and are fully animated
Note: throttle Friction lever is also animated by there is no real impact on the throttle animation speed
The radio panel is made up by default with the GPS Aera 510, the Bendix KX165 COM/NAV, the Bendix
KT76A Transponder equipment and the Bendix KAP140 autopilot.
Note: the detailed instructions how to use the provided equipment are not included in this handbook but
can be easily found on the Web
The whole radio panel (apart the Bendix KAP140 autopilot) can be switched (back and forth) with the
GTN750 (if installed, with autopilot enabled features only for GTN750 Premium version) using one of the
provided hotspot screws (as shown in the following figure)
All the needed info about the GTN750 mod for MSFS and its installation instructions can be found following
the link https://pms50.com/msfs/
Near the standard engine gauges of the Tecnam P92 Echo Classic cockpit there is the ELT RC200 (Test – Arm
– On animated sequence) equipment: a distinct sound is played when activated
An interactive fully working Breakers panel is also available, with a tooltip shown to indicate current
breaker state
To start the aircraft just follow the provided checklist: be sure that at least one of the two fuel selector
valves (one for the Left and one for the Right tanks) is set to “On” before starting the engine
A complete gauge lighting system has been developed, set to on using the provided Panel Light switch
Ten different levels of light dimming can be selected clicking on the provided hotspot screw below the
Panel Light switch
All moveable surfaces (ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevator, elevator trim) are animated following the pilot or
autopilot inputs
Elevator trim can also be operated up and down using the provided yoke trim buttons
Animated central steering gear and opening pilot and co-pilot doors (once clicked on the door levers) can
be observed from one of the provided external views
The Chock rope covering the Pitot tube, wheel chocks and tie downs wing ropes will be automatically
hidden when the engine is running or the parking brake is not set
Note: Pilot model is visible (from external) only if its weight is set greater than 0 in the Weight an Balance
screen
The Tecnam P92 Echo Classic comes with several liveries, as shown in the aircraft livery selection screen, all
using MSFS registration ID on the fuselage and below right wing
Note: you can download additional liveries from web sites dedicated to MSFS addons (like flightsim.to)
- Exterior options
o Show / hide external static elements (Wheel chocks and Tie downs wing ropes)
o Show / hide Pitot Cover
o Show / hide landing gear wheels fairings
Note: when the EFB is open the left door cannot be opened as the book should stay in the left door bag
Checklist
A fully interactive checklist, developed in different stages following the same structure of the official Flight
Manual, is provided
Checklist can be activated using the standard MSFS In-game Toolbar or with the provided keyboard
shortcuts
External inspection, following the path represented in the following figure, can be executed using one the
provided external views
Aircraft geometry
An accurate representation of the aircraft geometry, weights and dimensions has been modeled in the
configuration files
Before starting a flight, it is recommended to adjust and check the weight and balance settings in order to
ensure the correct flight behavior is achieved
CG and weight limits are as defined as indicated by Tecnam manufacturer in the official Flight Manual
