FULL TIME (Non-management)

a. You will be:


1. Teaching an average of 24 to 34 hours per week including
group and private classes, teaching hours including
coverage, and standby classes.
2. Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English
language teaching lessons.
3. Assigning and correcting homework.
4. Grading students’ assessments at the end of the term.
5. Creating a supportive and positive classroom environment.
6. Keeping track of student progress & attendance.
7. Collaborating with educational staff to provide a positive
learning experience for students.
8. Doing other educational duties and activities, depending on
the department you are allocated to. (An average of 10-20
hours per week)
a. Curriculum: Assist in creating and developing
curriculums.
9. And/Or events, excursion planning
10. Your job might also entail other ad-hoc duties such as work on
educational projects or events.
11. To attend and participate in ULC meetings, events, and
workshops.

b. You are required to have:


1. Knowledge of various methods of teaching ESL or English to
non-native speakers.
2. Full proficiency from levels A1-C2 (Beginner-Advanced).
3. MUST have at least one (1) year of ESL Teaching experience
for ADULT Learners.
4. Experience in teaching:
a. General English
b. Business English
​Studied any of these:
1. Cambridge CELTA
2. Trinity Cert TESOL
3. Equivalent recognized entry-level qualification to teach English
as a Foreign/Second Language.

c. It will be beneficial if you have


1. Experience & proficiency in teaching kids/teenagers (age 8-17).
2. Experience in IELTS preparation.
3. Experience in group classes and Private Lessons.
4. Proficient in Online Lessons (Zoom).
5. Worked with Interactive Whiteboards (IWB).
6. Experience in curriculum development.
d. We are looking for someone who:
1. Has great organizational and communication skills.
2. Has a calm and resilient personality, and is friendly and
enthusiastic.
3. Is able to handle a dynamic classroom.
4. Highly motivated and passionate about teaching.
5. Is flexible and easy to adapt to changes.

e. Working hours:
1. Monday to Fridays, shifts will be
a. Shift A (9 am - 6 pm)
i. Entitled to 45 mins lunch break.
b. Shift B (11:15 am - 9 pm)
i. Entitled to a 90 mins break (45 mins of
lunch/dinner break).
2. Teaching on Saturdays and after your shift hours will be
considered overtime

a. You will be:


1. Teaching an average of 18-26 hours per week including
group and private classes, teaching hours including
coverage, and standby classes.
2. Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English
language teaching lessons.
3. Assigning and correcting homework.
4. Grading students’ assessments at the end of the term.
5. Creating a supportive and positive classroom environment.
6. Keeping track of student progress & attendance.
7. Collaborating with educational staff to provide a positive
learning experience for students.
8. Doing, managing, or co-managing other educational duties
and activities, depending on the department you are
allocated to. (An average of 18-26 hours per week).
