Forensic analysis is very important in the police sector. Forensic footprint analysis is used
to resolve criminal civil and regulatory matters. Normally, footprints are found in crime scenes
what that means is that the footprint analysis has to be done to determine the cause of the
problem. The footprints may yield information and be used to tell the client they might have
been at the crime scene. This kind of evidence is usually called unknown evidence but can still
be used to give a link to the person who committed the evidence. The height of an individual
who participated in the crime scene can be evaluated and calculated from the foot size. The
French anthropologist and physician Paul Topiary made this discovery (Journal of Forensic
Sciences & Criminal Investigation, 2021). Indeed, this practice has been very practical in giving
a sense of direction to the detectives. Previously, there was research conducted that wanted to
confirm this. Three thousand male prisoners in England and Wales had their foot length divided
by 0.15. This research has been under many trials but the same results from the previous results.
Experiment Procedure
Six adults from the Mardif police post in Dubai were used as the participants in this
experiment.
The participants removed their shoes for the measurements to be taken. This gave the
They then had to stand against the wall for this measureme4nt to be effected

Measurements of the length of their feet were done from the wall at the tip of the big toe,
The measurement was recorded in inches and each of them divided by 0.15.
The measurement was then recorded and later converted into inches and feet to give the
The results were then recorded in the spreadsheet to confirm the length of a person’s foot
From the sizes of the feet that were measured, all of them directly translated to the required
height. Meaning that when the feet were measured, they were divided by 0.15. From the division,
the estimated length of the participant was determined. From the results, the estimated length of
the foot and the actual lengths of the feet were similar to each participant's actual height. For this
reason, most forensic technicians use the footprints to narrow down on the pull of suspects that
might have conducted any criminal activity (Giles & Vallandigham, 2019). Knowing the heights
has been efficiently used to guide forensic scientists on the next course they must follow. In
conclusion, when research is done about a particular suspect at a crime scene, the principle of
