FPGA Design and Verification Engineer Qualification
 BE in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or equivalent

Required Skills and Experience

 Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in verification of complex digital systems

 Experience developing verification plans, test benches and test cases

 Experience with advanced verification techniques and methodologies such as UVM or OVM

 Knowledge of high-level object-oriented programming languages, such as SystemVerilog

 Experience with Mentor Graphics Modelsim/Questasim

 Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, Tcl is an asset

 Experience with DO-254 is an asset

 Motivated and excellent communication skills (oral and written)

 Tool Experience: Mentor Graphics Modelsim/Questasim (Questa tool set), Xilinx tool set Roles &
Responsibilities

 Participate in the DO-254 Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) development and certification
process;  Analyze functional requirements for systems and/or sub-systems

 Participate in the definition of FPGA functional and performance requirements;

 Participate in the definition of FPGA validation and verification plans;

 Develop simulation verification test benches, verification components and bus-functional models
in SystemVerilog, using standardized verification methodologies such as UVM;

 Develop and implement on-target test environments;

 Develop, document and execute test procedures, and write test reports;

 Utilize development process and participate in design reviews for key characteristics of
performance as well as safety/reliability, test and manufacturability;

 Provide documentation for requirements, design descriptions, tests and production support;

 Support management, systems and manufacturing in various planning or problem solving tasks
