Allow me to narrate a short story that drives me to this very moment of setting foot in this
company. Every time I look up into the sky, it has always been etched in my mind the core
essence of freedom. Back when I was 18, I had my first independent scheduled flight. A blended
striking feeling of fear and excitement was all over my system. However, just when I thought
that fear might eat up my state of mind, it was excitement that rule over my body. I’ve always
wanted to be as free as the clouds in the sky. Paired with my fiery passion for immersing and
comforting people, I found myself ready to pursue a career in the Aviation Industry. So when I
saw your hiring while scrolling on the website called Jobstreet.com this compel me to fill one of
your vacant slots as a Cabin Crew in your Airline Company. I am a fresh graduate of Far Eastern
University taking up a degree in Tourism Management specializing in the Travel and Tours
Track.

With my years of experience as a Philippine Red Cross Volunteer-Cebu Chapter, I was able to
hone my skills in terms of safety procedures, first-air medication, and emergency response
which is pivotal in the necessary skills that a Cabin Crew should possess. I would also like to
highlight my involvement in Community Engagement Programs through environmental
conservation and preservation which enable me to amplify my advocacies and concern for
vulnerable communities. Furthermore, I am a geared speaker that was able to collate
opportunities of learning different languages through my job experience as an English as
Second Language (ESL) Teacher. This propagates my mind to take time in learning basic foreign
languages the likes of Spanish and Korean to be able to show my students my willingness to
adapt to their culture. And I will continue to carry this kind of mindset to be of service to my
future passengers if I will be given a chance to work as your newest Cabin Crew.

Philippine Airlines as the first flag carrier of the Philippines in the aviation industry continuously
offer heartfelt service to every Filipino in terms of domestic and international flights. With your
company’s vision and mission which I’ve been sporting since before as a volunteer, I am
confident that I will still be able to magnify those ideals not limited to the Airline’s pavements
but to carry them with me onboard and beyond.
