演講摘要 Summary:
Turbulent jet ignition is an advanced pre-chamber ignition enhancement technique for spark
ignition engines that uses a discharging jet of hot combusting gases to initiate main chamber
combustion. The jet acts as a distributed ignition source, leading to fast burn rates and
increased combustion stability. TJI benefits: reliable ignition at ultra-lean or highly EGR
diluted conditions, distributed ignition, multiple sites, faster flame propagation, potentially
lower COV and knock. Prechamber TJI for light duty gasoline engine as key challenges for
efficiency improvement: limited dilution tolerance at low to medium load, knock at medium
to high load, low speed pre-ignition at extreme conditions. TJI can help improving those key
challenges: increased dilution tolerance due to multiple ignition sites and enhanced
turbulence, knock mitigation due to fast end-gas comsumption and better targeted areas.
Prechamber. Prechamber turbulent jet ignition has two ignition mechanisms. TKE: Jet (self
induced) >> pre-chamber >> MC. Jet combustion may fall in the thick flame and thickened
