Class III: Large prime-movers and other large machines with rotating masses mounted on
rigid and heavy foundations which are relatively stiff in the direction of vibration
measurements.

Finding:

- High vibration at motor side radial direction.


- 1X peak dominating the spectrum. (please refer to figure 1)
Correction Action on last Major SD September 2022:

- Change new fluid coupling (YOX500)

- New Coupling Element.

Vibration Trending & Chronology:

- After Change Oil Seal gearbox on April 22, Vibration starts increasing.
- Suspect fluid coupling problem & create unbalance then on September 22 change new fluid
coupling.
- Vibrations are reducing but still in Alert condition, Next action is required on this short
stoppage.
For Next Action Plan during Short Stoppage:

1) Test Run bucket Drive with output uncouple, and take vibration data. To reconfirm vibration
is not coming from bucket or foundation resonance.

Further Action plan required if vibration still high after test run uncouple:
- Coupling Alignment need to recheck.
- Fluid coupling balancing (Phase Analysis Required) to reconfirm.

2) If vibration is reduce when test run uncouple, Further action is required:


- Output Coupling need to Realignment.
- Foundation required to add strengthen.
