Type Description
ReqBOM (BO1) Used for REQ Project Specific BOM changes.
NPI (EC) Used for Standard design change to drawing and BOM.
Used for Services, Packaging, BOP parts creation.
Used for REQ Project Specific drawings (Must select ECONPI
Approval List Route).
ECO-ONE (VPENG) Used for CM&U drawing changes.
Route Description
ECONPIReview Select for true NPI parts and drawings.
Select for Services, Packaging, BOP, REQ Project Specific
parts/drawing creation.
DO NOT select if rolling/revising/obsoleting parts or drawings.
ECOCCBReview-No Select for all other changes related to standard design change
obsoleted parts that require CCB review approval (i.e. rolling/revising parts or
drawings).
DO NOT select if obsoleting parts.
ECOCCBReview- Select for all other changes related to standard design change
With obsoleted that require CCB review approval (i.e. rolling/revising/obsoleting

ECO Type and Name cannot be changed once the ECO is created.
BOM Markups are applied in ECO.
If an ECO task is REJECTED the route will end and a new route will
have to be created.
All parts and drawings must have an ECO.
ECO can be connected in: Part create screen or Drawing Create
screen.
For an ECO, the ECO owner, the Responsible Design Engineer and
other Assignees can add affected items.

All affected items must be in Approved.

Attribute Description
Type & Policy Auto populated with ECO. No need to change.
