Dear Director Lorico,


This is to express my intent to transfer from DSWD FONCR Standards Section to DSWD-NCR
Regional Rehabilitation Center for the Youth (RRCY) located at Northgate Avenue, Filinvest
Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City for the following reasons: 
 
1. I got married to a resident of Alabang and we are already thinking about
pregnancy. For this reason, it could help me avoid the big risk of pregnancy.  
2. Last year, it was easy for me to come to work as I was only taking a PNR train
and a jeep but the PNR will, unfortunately, stop its operation starting October 2023.
Now, I am taking a bus going to Lawton and then a jeep going to DSWD FONCR. 
With that, I need to travel for at least 4 hours a day including departure from work. I
usually get home at 8:00 pm but sometimes beyond that due to the limited bus going
to Alabang. Another anticipated problem is the phase-out of jeepneys and there only
be limited modern jeepneys as only a few drivers will afford them. If I will be
transferred, I could save time and money. 
3. Further, my husband oftentimes has difficulty walking due to suspected gout.
Hence, it would be easy for me to attend to his needs. 

I have been working at Marillac Hills-National Training School for Girls for almost four years
handling court cases such as Children in Conflict with the Law (CICLs). In fact, I am an
accredited Social Worker Managing Court Cases (SWMCC) valid until 2024, providing me an
edge in handling the CICLs of RRCY.
