GOOD EVENING MR. CABANILLAS AND CLASSMATES. MY NAME IS JAIRO

CASTILLO SANDOVAL AND I’M THE LEADER. MY TEAMMATES ARE CHRISTIAN
CHACÓN AND LUCIA CORNEJO.

INTRODUCTION
TODAY, WE´RE GOING TO PRESENT OUR PROJECT WORK. IT´S NAME´S “OUR
UNIVERSITY LIFE”. IT'S ABOUT A CONVERSATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITY
CLASSMATES WHO TELL EACH OTHER WHAT THEIR LIFE IS LIKE AS UNIVERSITY
STUDENTS. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK IS TO SHOW WHAT ARE THE ROUTINES OF
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND THE ACTIVITIES THAT THEY DO

Jairo and Christian meet at the door of the university.

Jairo: Hello, Christian, how are you? It's been days without seeing each
other.
Christian: Hi, Jairo, I'm very well, thanks for asking. How are you?
Jairo: Not bad, Christian.
Christian: Where are you going?
Jairo: I'm going to study for my Sociology practice.
Christian: Which professor teaches you that course?
Jairo: Sociology is taught by professor Gustavo Drago.
Christian: Uhm, who is he? I'm not sure if I know him, can you describe
him?
Jairo: He's a 59-year-old professor, tall, with dark skin, glasses and a long
beard.
Christian: I think I know him, but I'm not sure.
Jairo: And you, Christian, where are you going?
Christian: I'm going to my civil law class.

Lucia arrives.

Lucía: Hi, guys, how are you?
Jairo: Hi Lucia, we're fine.
Christian: Yes, we are fine, it's a wonderful day.

Lucía: Yes, it's nice weather, what were you talking about?

Christian: About our University courses.

Lucía: Very interesting, what is your favorite course?

Jairo: My favorite course is History, because I can learn about the

important events that happened in the past and learn from them, and also
appreciate the great legacy that our ancestors have left us.
Lucía: That 's great!

Christian: My favorite course is criminal law, because it allows me to

know the laws in criminal matters, which I will be able to apply in my
career.

Jairo: What about you, Lucía, what is your favorite course?

Lucía: I don't have a favorite course, but I like integrating activity because
I can relax either in volleyball or dance.

Lucía: And how have you spent your vacations?

Jairo: My vacation was great. I needed that vacation because I was under a
lot of stress. I traveled to Piura and it’s very beautiful. There are several
beaches, the food is delicious and the people are very friendly.

Christian: I had a great time. I traveled to Cajamarca for the carnivals. I

loved that city, it has many touristic places. I also studied office
automation online and English. I also played a lot of soccer.

Christian: And how do you think this cycle will go?

Jairo: I think I’ll have to get up early because of my math classes, I have
language classes in the morning too.
In the afternoons I like to go to the sports ground to play soccer with my
classmates, to my public speaking classes at the University theater.
I don’t go to the CEIDUNS building because my English classes are
virtual.
I would like to learn to swim but this university doesn't have a swimming
pool.

Christian: I recently started my face-to-face classes after several years; I

am happy about that. My classes are usually in the mornings, so I have to
get up early to get to the university on time. Still, I enjoy my classes.
Christian: And you, Lucía, how have you spent your vacations?

Lucía: I had a great time with my family. In the afternoons I went to the
university to play volleyball, and on the weekends I went to visit my dad. I
also got together with my school friends and we went out dancing and
eating.

Jairo: And how is this cycle going, Lucia?

Lucía: Well, for the moment I'm doing well, I only have Wednesday off.
On Mondays I have classes all day. I have 5 courses. There is also a
course that I don't like very much but I still have to work hard. This cycle
I also have to go to the hospital. I hope I do well in practice

Jairo: What do you think if we are going to talk in the coffee shop?
Christian: Where’s the coffee shop?

Lucía: Go straight and turn left. Go straight on till you see the CEIDUNS
building, and it’s on the right and opposite the CEIDUNS building.

In the coffee shop.

Jairo: Oh! I just remembered that I need to study for tomorrow's practice!
Sorry, guys. How do I get to the library?
Christian: Go straight to the Cultural Center on the corner. Turn left and
go straight on. The library is on the left, between the systems engineering
building and the Cultural Center.

Christian: By the way, do you know what’s the best way to the sports
field?
Jairo: Of course! Walk straight east until you come to the intersection,
cross the street for the crosswalk. Keep going straight and when you get to
the corner of the block cross the street again. It’s the building right next to
the admission building.
Christian: Okay, thank you very much!
Lucía: So, see you later.
Christian: Yes, see you.
Jairo: Take care.
CONCLUSIONS

As a conclusion of our work, we can see that although university life is not
entirely easy and requires taking on challenges, it is still a beautiful and enriching
stage in our lives.

The routines of university students can sometimes be stressful but also a lot of
fun when they like.
