Textbooks/Resources
All course materials will be provided to students and there are no
required textbooks for the course. All materials/resources will be
provided by North LaFayette Elementary School. However, here
are some additional websites and resources that you may find
helpful to practice third grade math skills.

Communication/Office Hours
Parents and guardians can ensure they stay up to date on all of
the wonderful things happening in our classroom and school by
joining Class Dojo. I will use Class Dojo to send important
reminders, pictures, and information about upcoming events. You
may also utilize Class Dojo to send me messages. In addition, I
am also available through email at
alexandriabenson@walkerschools.org. I can be reached between
the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday via
Class Dojo, email, or school phone.
Parent conferences will take place in the fall and spring; however,
if you would like to meet to discuss your student’s progress at
another time during the school year, please send me an email or
message.
Semester 2
Unit 5: Two-Step Word Problems and Time Weeks 17-20

1) Login daily (Monday through Friday) to check course
announcements and updates.
2) Respond kindly to classmates and teacher.
3) Read feedback given by your teacher.
4) Read rubrics and checklists provided to you.
5) Utilize Number Talk Hand Signals during synchronous
sessions.
6) Contribute to discussions.
5) You have the right to be notified from time to time that your
student may be photographed, videotaped, or interviewed
for school activities or events.
6) You have the right to file with the United States Department
of Education if you have a complaint concerning the
school’s failure to comply.
