1. INTRODUCTION

The Technological University of the Philippines - Cavite is located in

Salawag, Dasmarinas, Cavite. The TUPC students have noticed that the water

supply is now insufficient and inadequate. The pupils have noted that the

water supply at the school is currently insufficient and inadequate. When there

is regularly no water in the comfort rooms or other water sources, using the

toilet could be uncomfortable. Given that there is frequently no water

available in the comfort rooms or other water sources, finding a good solution

to this problem at the school would help not only the school community but

also the surrounding environment.

The proposed project consists of construction a new water facility that can

purify rainwater at the Technological University of the Philippines – Cavite.

Students, teachers, parents, school officials, and residents of the community in

Salawag, Dasmarinas who are concerned about the school's wellbeing can

utilize this water filter or facility. This will contribute to water conservation

and ensure that the school has adequate water for both students and instructors

to utilize.

The proposed water facility

2.2 Project

The project involves the construction of new water facility in

Technological University of the Philippines – Cavite. A location report with a

proposed site and three possible spot was recently completed for the project.

By limiting bacterial pathogens, water filtration may cleanse vast volumes of

wastewater, allowing it to be reused and made available to people. The

neighborhood will be able to preserve a significant quantity of water by using

a readily available instrument to filter wastewater.

An affordable water filter that may be created using materials found

around is a biosand filter. It requires no energy and requires little upkeep.

Aluminum, cement, plastic, and other materials can all be used to create the

container.
3. DESCRIPTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

The most precious resource available to all living things is water. More

than 96% of the earth's surface is covered with it. Even still, a big problem

exists with regards to the availability of water for everyday necessities,

agriculture, and drinking. In other words, while being one of the most

regularly mistreated commodities, water's high worth does not shield it from

abuse.

The project's boundaries are situated in a schoolyard with lots of trees,

which is normally accessible and devoid of any permanent infrastructure.

There is a location where a facility can be created that has not been utilized or

visited by students during the consultation meeting. Rain collection won't be

an issue because rainy days are a regular occurrence in the Philippines,

making it easy to store water every time it rains for filtration in the future

facility. There is a pipe in each school building that transports water from the

drain to the water facility, where it is stored and purified.
