This booklet is to help you revise for your French AP3 assessment.

You will have to read a text in French and answer some questions and
translate sentences from French into English.

The assessment will cover everything we have studied since September,

including the topic of ‘art history’ which you have been learning about at
home.

Revision tips
• Revise little and often – learn a few words each night from your book
and get someone at home to test you.
• Practice writing from memory to test yourself then check your book
using your exercise book with a green pen - don’t just read your book!
• Teach someone at home what you have been learning.
• Make a revision mind map using vocab from the following topics:
holidays, weather, feelings, opinions, places in town and art history
• Make flash cards with the French on one side and the English on the
other and get family and friends to test you.
• Use look/cover/write/check to practise spellings you are unsure about.
