Who we are: ISO Spaces is an award-winning,
innovative company that designs,
manufactures and installs bespoke
modular buildings from recycled shipping
containers. Since creation in 2014 the
company has worked with a variety
of clients including Jeep, Box-park &
Fevertree.
We create bespoke pop-up bars, restaurants & hotels. We can also quickly
deploy modular structures for offices, classrooms & many other uses.
Why use containers.
Shipping containers are produced to be strong, secure and resisliant. We
manufacture with one trip containers which means they are in great condition
and can last up to 20 years with regular maintenance.
Each of our projects is bespoke and the cost of our units vary depending on
the specification. Shipping container conversions can prove to be an affordable
build option and are hugely adaptable to a huge variety of uses.
Our process.
Working with us is a lot like hiring the services of an architect. We can do as little or
as much of the process as you require, we can work with your brief to design your
ideal unit, we would then produce manufacturing drawings and build the unit for you
all in house using trusted sub-contractors for any specialist works. We have sound
knowledge of working to meet building and fire regulations and can give expert
guidance throughout the process.

Bespoke
Shipping containers can be adapted to many
uses and we can work with you to make sure the
design suits all your needs and requirements.
Security
Each container is fully secure, options include
lockable barn doors, anti-vandal glass with
roller shutters and remote controls for hydraulic
operated equipment.
Power
A container can be run off a generator or
plugged in straight to the mains.
Branding
Shipping containers are easy to brand up.
They can be painted in any RAL colour with
vinyl logos applied, or entirely vinyl wrapped
with a photograph, graphic or logo.
Transport
The UK transport network has been designed to
cater for the transport of containers. Containers
can be easily transported on the back of a lorry,
enabling flexibility.
Versatile
Due to the nature of the shipping container,
they are very versatile, and can be used for
a wide range of applications; from homes to
shopping malls, bars to restaurants and even
swimming pools.
Modular
There are multiple combinations and design
possibilities when using containers; enabling
flexibility in staging the implementation of
projects, scalable in the medium or long term.
Adaptable to location
Having been designed with a view to optimise
logistics, it can be adapted to practically any
location or setting.

ICE BAR | Eis Haus
2x40ft + 1x20ft Shipping Containers
This bar was created for our client EIS Haus and is the world’s first portable container ice bar. The two 40ft units are
staggered which creates a flow from the reception area to the interior ice bar. A roof terrace was built above the
entrance for use by a DJ and an additional 20ft side opening bar unit was provided to serve further customers outside.

SIDE OPENING BAR | Fever Tree
2x20ft Shipping Containers with roof terrace
Drinks brand Fever-Tree commissioned us to design and build a large G&T container bar. This structure encompasses
two 20ft containers which are joined together. This enabled us to create a large roof terrace with easy access, seating and
parasols. The side opening front container allows full bar service potential, with a retractable awning and the side opening
doors being used to hang menus . The back container is used only for storage.

This container bar has been designed carefully to

be in keeping with the company branding. We used
reclaimed wood to create a natural, rustic feel and
integrated it with the industrial container profile. ISO SPACES | 13

SELF SERVICE BAR | Flowbot bars
1x10ft Shipping Container
This project was designed and created for Flowbot Bars, an innovative start-up company. This 10ft high cube provides a
turnkey solution for a fully integrated self-service bar system. Using self leveling pads the 10ftx8ft unit can be easily moved
and deployed for any event.

commissioned by The Container As part of Maesteg Wetherspoons refurbishment, a 20ft hydraulic container bar was designed for the beer garden. The

This pop-up bar is the first of two successful portable bars commissioned by The Container Bar Company.
The design is based in a 20ft shipping container with a double hydraulic folding deck with integrated seating for the rapid
deployment at events around the UK. The project incorporates innovative design solutions such as a retractable awning,
integrated bar equipment and lighting.

BEER TASTING CONTAINER | Concept Design
1x20ft Shipping Container
The Beer tasting unit is a side opening container with small internal counter, either side are wall mounted racks which small
beer kegs can be displayed. This unit is fully transportable for events and also has integrated advertising boards which can
be used for menu’s or promotional material. The internal space is 13m2 and all our units are fully brand-able and can be
painted any RAL colour &/or vinyl wrapped.

Our Champagne bar concept design is based in a 40ft container with two hydraulic folding sides. A roof terrace with
staircase access creates an area for customers to sit and additional parasoles provide cover. Bar equipment can be
supplied as required for the double sides bar, as well as Integrated Internal lighting and electrics. All our units are fully
brand-able and can be painted any RAL colour &/or vinyl wrapped.

CATERING CONTAINER | Manomasa
1x20ft Side Opening Shipping Container
The Manomasa Tortilla Bar included retractable awning, portable deck staging, OSB varnished walls, reclaimed wooden
pallet ceiling, a stunning bar area with hand-carved wood counter logo and 1050 Mexican tiles. Our team of in-house
carpenters were responsible for every aspect of the build, right down to the distressed furniture and fitting. ISO Spaces
worked closely with the Manomasa design and marketing team, to ensure this bespoke build delivered strongly in terms
of brand, as well as functionality. We’re looking forward to seeing this pretty conversion popping up at more events across

SIDE OPENING CATERING UNIT | Notso Sushi
2x20ft Shipping Container
This double shipping container burger bar and hotdog stand, was made of 2 x 20ft side opening containers, that were
seamlessly installed at Wembley Stadium for the Notso Events brand. Each container conversion encompasses striking
bespoke neon roof signage and includes an awning to be used in all weathers. It is fully kitted out with a commercial
kitchen and promotional space on the inside of the doors for daily menu updates. ISO Spaces worked with the vendor to
ensure the ergonomics were perfect for preparing quick meals for customers, whilst also making it an approachable space
for passing fans.

Countless hours were also invested in the internal fit, that had to
meet our client’s exacting material and finishing requirements.
Whilst we ensured the Notso brand transcend across the shipping
container burger bar and the hot dog stand; each had their very

ICE CREAM PARLOUR | Eden Project
1x20ft Shipping Container
This 20ft side opening container has been converted into an ice cream parlour and is located at The Eden Project in
Cornwall. The unit fits in with the Eden Project’s eco friendly ethos using recycled materials thoughout. External branding
boards have been added and additional awnings provide shelter for customers.

CATERING POD | Coat and Badge & Hippo Inns
1x10ft Shipping Container
Geronimo Inns commissioned us to create a BBQ and burger shack to utilise redundant space in their Putney based
pub, The Coat and Badge. This design which is similar in style to the Hippo Inns 10ft unit, integrated a single serving
hatch opening on gas struts with an additional side opening barn doors.

FLOATING RESTAURANT | Concept Design
4x40ft Shipping Containers
Comprised of 4 40ft containers the Woodca floating restaurant has an internal area of 105m2 and sits on a pre-made
floating pontoon. The pontoon can be fixed in an existing harbour location or can sit further out in open water using an
anchor style system that will keep it in place.
