Rpm vs armature voltage

Armature current vs armature voltage

Torque vs armature voltage

Learnings

● W (rads-1) = Vt/ (k*phi) - Ra * T/(k * phi)^2

● Speed increases linearly with armature voltage

● For same load connected to the generator, torque is almost constant

● Curve for Ia is similar to T since T = k * phi * Ia

Armature current vs field current

Torque vs field current

Rpm vs field current

Learnings:

● W (rads-1) = Vt/ (k*phi) - Ra * T/(k * phi)^2

● As field current increases phi increases

● Torque is almost constant for a load

● Rpm decreases with increases in phi

● Ia = k * phi * T => Ia increases with phi

Armature current vs field current

Pf vs field current

Learnings

● Ia * PF α If * sin(d)

● d is the angle between the stator and the roto fields in sync motor - is depends on the

loading
● When d is changed (load is changed), the pf also changes

● d also changes with change in field current

● Pf is max at d = 90 deg
