Winter in Greece is characterized by presenting average temperatures, between 10 and 15 ºC, although these
temperatures can drop in the northern region and in the mountainous areas of the country. In the summer, temperatures
range between 20 and 27 ºC.
 Typical dishes of the gastronomy of Greece
the fasolada:
a very homemade vegetarian stew made with white
beans and all kinds of vegetables -especially onions,
peppers, carrots, celery and tomato. The curiosity of
this dish, whose name derives from fasouláda or
fasolia, which means beans.
Gyros:
Spinning meat (inserted into an iron rod to cook it)
sliced thin, accompanied by tzatziki, tomato or onion
and wrapped in pita.
MUSAKKA:
Baked eggplant pie, lamb meat and tomato sauce
with bechamel. It can also be prepared with potatoes.
It is reminiscent of lasagna, but replacing the pasta
with aubergine. In fact, there are those who consider
it the antecedent of lasagna.
TZATZIKI:
It is served to eat simply spread with bread, as if it
were a cold mezze, or to accompany and season
different foods such as salads or gyros. In addition,
its preparation is very simple, since it is a
combination of yogurt with cucumber, lemon, olive
oil, dill and garlic.
 HISTORY
Once the cradle of the most enlightened civilization of its historical moment, of democracy, philosophy and
thought to which the Western world is heir, the Hellenic Republic is located on the shores of the northeastern
margin of the Mediterranean Sea, in a strategic enclave between Europe, Asia and Africa.
One of the greatest symbols of the country is, without a doubt, the Acropolis of its capital, Athens, a monument
that rises above the city and nestled on a 156-meter hill.
As for Kefalonia, it is arguably the most beautiful destination in Greece. The most beautiful beach in the country,
underground lakes, impossible cliffs, wonderful gastronomy and incredible natural diversity are just some of its

And when it comes to spectacular beaches, Greece is plagued. Its coastline is divided between islands and
peninsulas, seas and stories, cliffs and forests, where diving is not the only reason for the visit. Places of
shipwrecks, white and pink sands, brightly colored waters and lunar landscapes make up a picture where,
sometimes, getting wet is the least of it, and what matters is the postcard that remains in the memory.
