Recruitment is a complex process, which consists of:

expectations towards the employee

❏ Collecting incoming applications
❏ Selection

2. Read about what internal and external recruitment is. Write about the
advantages and disadvantages of each.

Task 2
Prepare a complete profile and job description for one position: secretary, lab
assistant, marketing employee.
Secretary
Primary Location: Edinburgh division
Schedule: Full-time
Salary: 1800 GBP monthly
The role: Company Secretary
The primary role of Secretary is to provide administrative assistance to the Vice
President of the Board of Directors as well as to external stakeholders. Secretary
analyses internal company policies and regulations and prepares the requested
internal and external documentation in consent with applicable standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
❏ Assisting in document management.
❏ Attending board of management meetings.
❏ Drafting of procedural papers including various reports for the Vice President
of the Board.
❏ Presenting the results of presentations to members of the office and external
stakeholders.
Requirements:
❏ Excellent drafting skills.
❏ Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite package, Outlook and
Internet research.
❏ Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
❏ Holds Master’s degree.
❏ Minimum 5 years of experience at the related position.
