Dato’ Lee Chong Wei

Dato’ Lee Chong Wei is a professional badminton player from Malaysia's singles. Lee,
who managed to get a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, it received the title of ' Dato’ '
because it is considered a national hero of Malaysia, where Malaysia has never had an Olympic
medal since 2006. Lee petty likes basketball, but due to his mother's concern that prohibits Lee
to do activities outside the home, then Lee switched to practice badminton at the age of 11. 

Lee then attracted the attention of a coach Misbun Sidek named. After obtaining the approval of
his parents, Lee was playing badminton more seriously again. He holds the record undefeated in
all tournaments for three years, from 2004 to 2006 and another victory in 2008. He has also
defeated world champion Lin Dan and Taufik Hidayat. Lee had had an accident in late 2006
making him undergo surgery six stitches on his head injuries.

Lee was crowned men's singles badminton player in the world by the BWF for the third time in a
row. Despite the achievements of Lee in 2011 his performance is for the past six years, but he
was still able to show consistency. Lee had a chance to give the code that he will be retiring from
the world of badminton.
