Notice for Empanelment of External Faculty for Agriculture Sector Programs Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) is a registered society set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of india. Asa non-profit organization, PCRAis a nodal government agency engaged in promoting energy conservations and energy efficiency in various sectors of economy. it helps the government in proposing policies and strategies for petroleum conservation, aimed at reducing excessive dependence of the country on oil requirement. Over the years, PCRA has enlarged its role in improving productivity in use of various sources of energy. PCRA conducts programs for spreading awareness on Petroleum Conservation, through its empaneled faculty, amongst all sections of the society including Agriculture Sector. PCRA wishes to empanel suitable candidates for conducting Agriculture Workshops meeting the criteria as below: Retired teacher from a recognized Agriculture University/College/Institute or Graduate in Agriculture The following may please be noted: Empanelment of any candidate as a faculty, in no way means a permanent or temporary job with PCRA It shall be clearly understood that this shall not confer any right on the empaneled personnel to seek employment or absorption in PCRA. ‘The empanelment as faculty will be for a period of 3 years. However, during this period, their performance will be reviewed annually and the empanelment will continue only if their performance is found to be consistently good during the period under review. The empaneled candidate will be required to conduct Agricultural workshops (normally of % day duration) om behalf of PCRA in the Area/District/State as per requirement of PCRA, for which he/she is empaneled and will be reimbursed the expenses for conducting such workshops including honorarium and conveyance on submission of bills and required documents as per norms of PCRA. The format for submitting application for empanelment is attached. Interested candidates may contact/ submit their application for empanelment to the respective Regional Offices of PCRA, the details of which are given below. The applications so received will be scrutinized by PCRA and candidates will be ‘empaneled only if found suitable after personal interaction.
