Reaction Paper on ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION

SYSTEM

Electric power transmission is the transfer of bulk quantities of electrical energy. This
electrical power is transmitted from the generating electrical power plants to the electrical
substations that are located in the proximity of the infrastructure.

A network of electrical wires transports the electricity from the source of generation to
our residences and places of business once it has been produced. Transmission and
distribution lines, which are two distinct phases or systems on the grid, can be located
overhead or occasionally in the ground, and when combined, they form what is known as "the
grid."

The wiring that is performed between the elevated voltage substations and the clients
is described as electric power distribution. The transmitting lines that are connected are
transformed into the electrical energy transmission networks. The combination of the
electrical energy distribution and the electrical energy transmission is acknowledged as the
power grid.

In this webinar, Engr. Mario M. Solang discussed about Electricity Transmission and
Distribution System. The presentation emphasizes different way how Electricity Transmission
and Distribution System works. Engr. Solang help us to gain insight knowledge and giving
tips where we can benefit from it someday.
