Guidelines for the 2nd Quarterly Assessment

Assessment Week: JANUARY 31 - FEBRUARY 4, 2022

1. The exams will be administered through the Schoology platform at a scheduled time and
date. Please make sure that you submit your completed exam on or before the end of the
allotted time for the subject.
2. The exams will be added as ASSESSMENT and will be administered ASYNCHRONOUSLY, to be
supervised by the Section Adviser, in coordination with the Subject Teacher.
3. Students are allowed one attempt only for each exam. DO NOT CLICK the SUBMIT
BUTTON if you are NOT yet done answering the exam.
4. If technical glitches or problems arise, the student must inform the teacher at once. A special
schedule will be arranged between the Subject Teacher and the concerned student/s if necessary.
5. The number of items and type of test for each subject are detailed in the pointers in a separate
update.

We would like to ask the cooperation of all students, parents, and guardians to help us make our
online exams secure. Academic honesty is the main concern with online exams, but we know that with
everyone’s help, the results of our exams will be valid and reliable.

While we want students to obtain high scores and grades, what is more important is that they learn,
and that they are honest about showing what they have learned. Please avoid giving students the
answers, and allowing them to search the internet for the answers. If we really want our children to
learn and to grow as independent learners, we will allow them to answer the exams on their own.

We understand that younger students will need technical help in navigating the platform, but we ask
the parents to please limit the assistance to just that. Let us remember that ultimately, how our
children behave is greatly influenced by how we, the significant adults, act and speak around them. If
we want our children to be honest and trustworthy, we should make sure that they see that from us,
too.
