Carrier Objective:

Responsibilities: (Consultant Electrical Engineer)
 Study contract specifications / drawings.
 Review of electrical shop drawing and as built drawings and answer to the
technical queries submitted by the contractor for project implementation.
 Responsible for quality assurance procedure & inspect materials which supplied to
site according project documents & approvals.
 To verify the quality of the material is matching the standards of the consultant as
per the specifications required by the client.
 Supervise and inspect all executed electrical works at site to ensure that the
product was installed correctly.
 Review, study & evaluate the variation orders (VOs) or claims, when submitted by
the contractor.
 Performed reviews for projects involving electrical drawings and layouts.
 Coordination with clients/ contractors for all activities.
 Ensure that all the works done in accordance with the approved construction
drawings, contract documents, project specifications & all applicable standards.
 Comfortable in execution of engineering activities through a team of engineers.
 Coordinating with various engineering departments on site.
 Maintain and updates all the quality related documents and maintaining the DPR
(Daily Progress Report).
 Issue procurement requests for materials and equipment and follow up its delivery
to site.

Responsibilities (Contractor Site Engineer)

 Review shop drawings for conformance with the contract and ensure Information
is communicated to foreman and Superintendent.
 Continually update drawings with changes as issued by Consultants.
 Review cable termination and equipment including transformer.
 Selection of size, type and class of circuit breaker (MCB, MCCB, ACB, VCB,
ELCB, RCD and its Installation).
 Designing of distribution panel, sub main distribution panel, main distribution
panel, lighting system and power outlet.
 Selection of proper wire and cable for load.
 Calculation size of conduit and trunking size, Calculation of Cable tray size.
 Follow installation instruction of single core terminator and Follow the procedure
for indoor and outdoor cable termination.

  Hands on Earth Resistance Tester, MEGGER, High Voltage Detector, Clamp
meter, Multimeter.
 Perform earth resistance test, insulation test, continuity test & use of proper

 Digital meter reading and connection (single phase & three phase), Line
configuration, Minimum clearance of overhead lines, Calculation of
Capacitor Bank for line, Earthing of LT& HT poles, Voltage drop calculation.
 To perform transformer oil analysis to check water content, dielectric strength,
acidity, interfacial tension, dissipation factor. Understand Transformer nameplate.
 Calculation of size of transformer and voltage drop of starting of large Motors and
optimum location of capacitor. Knowledge of different types of poles LT & HT
conductor used, types of insulator, arms D/work estimate of transformer.

Trainee Engineer (Electrical Safety in PESCO)

 Safety & Hazards identification Planning to avoid accidents, Accident

Investigation, First Aid (DR.ABC and CPR), first aid for burns, bites, poison.
 Swollen, bleeding, fracture, foreign body.
 Obstruction, wound, electrocution, Pole Top Rescue, Fire Fighting Skills.

Substation Operator (132 KV GRID STATION PESCO)

 Checking oil level of all equipment, DC battery metering, Removing moisture

from main &pipe tank.
 Ensure intact contact, checking droppers, connectors & jumpers connections.
 Checking voltage & specific gravity of battery,11kv tripping report, units received
& sent out, max/min load, lubricating, cleaning, & observing isolators.
 permit to work, implementation of load shedding, recording data in log sheet,
tripping data, fault reason & fatal/non-fatal accidents in respective register.
