THESIS & Some of the projects executed by me are as follows:

PROJECTS 1. String of Insulators in High Voltage Overhead Lines - Chalmers Uni-
versity, Sweden - Studied and analyzed the distribution of voltage, electric
field and capacitances (between different insulator units, insulator units to the
conductor and insulator units to ground) for the string of insulators.
2. Real-time closed-loop control of a Switched Reluctance Motor - Chalmers
University, Sweden - Executed the closed-loop operation of a switched reluc-
tance motor drive system, using Matlab/Simulink and dSPACE. The main aim
was to continue from an open-loop implementation and develop a closed-loop
system. Encoder, DC voltage and phase current calibrations were done before
implementing the closed-loop control of the SRM. SRM motor parameters were
measured and inductance profiles for each phase winding, for 1250 rotor encoder
pulses were obtained. A hysteresis control strategy was implemented using Mat-
lab/Simulink and dSPACE.
3. Development of Experimental Setup for Feeder Protection Schemes
with Matlab GUI and Arduino Interfacing - VIT University, India -
Designing of a feeder protection scheme with the help of Arduino and Matlab GUI
interfacing using MiPower software. The interfacing environment was needed to
measure the source voltage of the system, measure the fault current and a timer
was developed to measure the total time for which the fault remains in any
feeder system.
