NOTICE TO THE 2023 BAR APPLICANTS

Re: THE WAY FORWARD WITH YOUR BARISTA-GENERATED
APPLICATION FORM

On June 26, 2023, a batch of applicants was notified of the approval of their
applications and the availability of their BARISTA-generated Application Forms. In
response to the technical issues conveyed through the 2023 Helpdesk, affected applicants
were advised on the same day and via Viber notice, to temporarily refrain from printing
and submitting their downloadable forms until further notice.

Please be informed that as of today, July 2, 2023, the said technical issues have
been RESOLVED.

All applicants are therefore advised to observe the following guidelines,

depending on the circumstances particularly applicable to them:

1. Applicants affected by the technical incident (i.e., those who were unable to
download their forms, or those whose downloaded forms reflected
discrepancies, missing information, etc., either from their initial receipt
thereof or at any other attempt to access the same within the week) are
directed to RE-DOWNLOAD their revised BARISTA-generated Application
Form for a final time. They are then urged to proceed with the physical
submission of their mandatory documents.

2. Applicants whose forms reflect persisting technical discrepancies despite their

re-download today, are advised to contact the 2023 Helpdesk1 and forward
their concern under the “BARISTA – Technical Issues” section.

3. Applicants who have already proceeded to physically submit their

mandatory documents to the Court, but belatedly realized errors in their
BARISTA-generated Application Forms are no longer mandated to re-submit
a new set of documents.

Instead, they are instructed: (a) to re-download the revised BARISTA-

generated Application Form; and (b) to upload the soft/scanned copy of their
signed corrected form to the 2023 Helpdesk2 under the “BARISTA-Corrected
Application Form” section.

4. Applicants who have already submitted physical copies of their mandatory

documents starting June 26, 2023 via courier, without need for correction or
revision in their BARISTA-generated Application Forms, are advised to
monitor their own tracking numbers. There is no need to request the OBC to
confirm receipt through the Helpdesk or in any other form or manner.

In this regard, please be informed that the period for the submission of mandatory
documents has now RESUMED, effective immediately.

All applicants who received their email notifications on June 26, 2023 as to the
availability of their BARISTA-generated Application Forms (whether initially correct or
affected by the foregoing technical incident) are now required to physically submit their
mandatory documents on or before July 12, 2023.

Applicants who require changes in their personal information as declared in

BARISTA due to their own personal oversight or as a result of supervening events – but
not due to the subject technical incident – are directed to file their requests through the
2023 Helpdesk3 under the “Application – Change Information” section.

Once again, we thank you for your patience and understanding. Please rest
assured that we will resolve any and all related concerns with utmost dispatch and
fairness, so that you may continue focusing on your preparations for the 2023 Bar
Examinations.
