    The maps illustrate how a Spanish city, namely Castellon has changed in two

    years: 2000 and today.

    Overall, it is clear that there have been a wide range of different significant
    changes happening in the development of this city. On the other hand, there has
    been no change in the site of the university located in the North.

    The Northeast used to be a green area with a large number of trees, but they
    have been cut down to give way to a completely new shopping mall. A new
    airport has been under construction and a new covered market has been erected
    in the East, while a train station and an old market have been demolished to
    establish a police station and some new shops in the West. In order to meet the
    city dwellers' demand for travel, a new train station has been built between the
    university and the city center.

    Looking at the port site, there have been a range of constructions for
    entertainment purpose, including a new cinema, bars and clubs. Besides, there
    has been the introduction of bike rental scheme in the center. Last but not least ,
    a new tramline has been formed to connect the university and the city center.
