    Ex.: Work – worked (Sofia worked yesterday)
    Play – played (I played guitar last week)
    Enjoy – enjoyed (I enjoyed the party last night)

    *Verbos terminados em E (acrescenta D)

    Ex.: Love – loved


    Arrive – arrived
    Lie – lied

    *Verbos terminados em Consoante + Y (acrescenta IED)

    Ex.: Cry – cried


    Study – studied
    Worry – worried

    *Verbos terminados em CVC (repete a ulWma consoante e acrescenta ED)

    EX.: Stop – stopped
