CURRICULUM FOR SPEAKING

+ The first week: Overview of Ielts speaking

- The outline: + About 3 parts
+ Score band
- About intonation and pronunciation
- Manners and attitudes + should and shouldn’t when you do the speaking test
- How to start an answer/a conversation + strategies for each part
- Introduction of a method to improve reflection
- Homework: Recording to check the pronunciation and intonation.
- Test: Interview  Check pronunciation, intonation, and all of the above.
+ The following week: Focusing on topics (10 topics of Mr. Quan especially)
- 2 people will teach 1 topic, flexibly depending on the topic chosen
For example:
+ A teaches part 1 and 2
+ B teaches part 3
- Provide vocabulary, phrases, and collocations for each topic.
- Homework: according to the teachers
- Test: + 2 examiners  one will in charge of 3 – 4 people
+ Based on the topic of that course and the form of Ielts test.  The whole test will
take about 60 minutes.
