4.3 DETAIL window

The DETAIL window displays the type of program data to be edited and the setting range
and option settings according to the chamber model.

4.3.1 Program data type

Define how to treat specification ranges that differ among chamber models when copying a
program pattern between chambers or between a chamber and computer.
In addition, the content of the range check when editing varies depending on the program
data type.

ALL ITEMS:
This performs a range check to see whether the set points are set within the
chamber specification ranges.
The range check is performed when saving the file.
If there are values outside the ranges, the file cannot be saved.

NOTICE
If the set points of the program pattern specified in ALL ITEMS are not within
the chamber specification ranges of the copy destination, an error message is
displayed on the chamber.

PROFILE ONLY:
This is enabled only for profile data. Profile data refers to temperature, humidity,
start and stop conditions, and counter setting data.
Chamber-specific information, such as refrigerator settings, air flow, time signals,
and alarm settings, are not included in profile data.
All items that are not treated as profile data are masked.
This performs a range check only for profile data items.

NOTICE
Items other than profile data items are set to the default values of the chamber
to which the files are to be copied. Check the values on the program setup
screen of the chamber.

24 | ESPEC CORP.
PATTERN MANAGER Lite Chapter 4 Editor functions Platinous J series

When a new file is opened, the LIST VIEW window is displayed and the DETAIL window is
displayed on top.

This window is also displayed when [DETAIL] is selected from the [SET] menu.

When the specification range is changed, the setting values of the program pattern may be
changed automatically within the specification range so as to be within the changed range.

Example: When the upper limit of the temperature range is changed from 150°C to 120°C
and the set temperature is above 120°C at each step, the set temperature is
changed to 120°C.

NOTICE
If the specification range is changed, it may not be able to be saved again to the
chamber that removed the edited program pattern (when "ALL ITEMS" is
selected for "PROGRAM DATA TYPE").
Before changing the settings, it is recommended that you make a backup of the
original program data.

When the counter is enabled, the program does not proceed to the next step
when that step ends and instead runs the counter's repeat start step.
Afterward, each time that step is run, the number of counter cycles is
incremented and the step is repeated until the number of set repeat cycles.
The number of repeat cycles can be set up to 99 cycles. When using
multiple counters, you cannot set either the repeat start step or end step of
one counter inside the repeat step range of the other counter. (They must
either be nested or mutually independent) When Counter A and B have the

4.5.3 How to change settings on the PLOT VIEW window

● You can specify the optimal setting resolution for the plot data of the testing profile.
Coordinates for the plot editor that are divided into a grid are drawn on the screen, and
the set points can be entered properly even by dragging and clicking with a mouse.
To enable detailed entry of set points to the decimal point, data created with the plot
editor can be changed and entered with numerical values in the list editor.

● A function enables automatic synchronization of the time axis for temperature and
humidity set points.
For example, when a temperature set point is added to a step and a ramp setting is
added, the humidity set point step is divided automatically in accordance with these
additions (the step division is synchronized automatically), so you do not need to align
the step time for both temperature and humidity, allowing you to focus on changing each
setting.

● A function enables you to move either the X axis (time) or Y axis (temperature, humidity).
By moving only the Y axis when editing the temperature/humidity set points or the X axis
when editing the time set points, you can create a proper pattern without worrying about
2-dimensional deviations when operating a mouse.

 Setting the temperature rate of change

This is a function for registering the display conditions of the temperature rate of change as
a pattern in advance. (Up to 5 patterns can be registered).
If you will repeatedly use set programs to perform tests, we recommend that you register the
programs as patterns.
In this situation, set the sampling cycle on the controller so that the execution of a test from
start to finish can be saved to a single file.
Configure the log so that it stops upon test completion, and use the manual setting to write
the data to a USB device. By doing this, you can display the rate of change at the same
position.
* When ramp control is in use, the settings written to the log change over time, so you
cannot display the rate of change by registering the pattern.
Example:
Test pattern: Step 1 20°C, 3:00
Step 2 -40°C, 5:00
Step 3 20°C, 8:00
