Daily Routine

I usually wake up at 7:30 am, stretch, grab my phone and turn off the alarm. Then I get up, go to the
bathroom, turn on the light and wash my hands and face with cold water. I put soap and rub my hands,
then rinse them well and dry them with a towel.

I don’t get dressed in the bathroom. I do it in my room. I put my clothes on and tie my sneakers laces.

Then I go to the kitchen, open the refrigerator and take out the milk, the diet jam and ricotta cheese. I
squeeze some fresh oranges and mix them with a little water, then I put everything on the table,pour milk
into a cup and heat it up in the microwave. Sometimes it boils and gets too hot so I let it cool for some
seconds. Then I grab the coffee jar and put 2 spoons in coffee. I spread some cheese and jam in the
wholemeal bread, bite it, chew it and then swallow it. If it doesn’t taste good, I spit it in a paper towel.

My daughter doesn’t use sugar, she uses sweetener for the coffee and stirs it very well. Then she puts
everything in the sink, opens the tap, washes, rinses and lets the cups drain. She doesn’t dry them.

Sometimes drops of milk fall on the floor, so she bends down and wipes it with a dish cloth, she doesn’t
mop it.

I don’t like to scrub the kitchenware so if I don’t have time to wash it, I soak it and do it later.

Then I brush my teeth and spit the mouth wash into the toilet sink. I always flush the toilet before I leave
the bathroom so that it doesn’t smell bad.

I don’t have a cleaning woman so I often sweep the floor then throw the trash into the garbage can, damp
the floor mop in the water and mop the floor. I don’t polish it because my floor is not wooden, there are
tiles and they shine.

Later I feed my dogs, then I sort the laundry, load the washer and when it’s ready I unload the dryer and
fold the clothes.

Before lunchtime, I cut the meat, chop onions, peel carrots and potatoes and slice them, then I grate some
cheese, roast the meat and fry the vegetables.

If I have time I mow the lawn in the garden and harvest my pumpkin and tomatoes, then my daughter
vacuums the rug.
