 System Introduction
HomeWorks® QS Lighting Management System by Lutron maintains
the highest level of control, functionality and reliability by
incorporating several different sub-systems under one Master
Control System.

Light Control. Create just the right light for any activity or
set different ambiences in specific areas of your home
all at the touch of a button.

Shade Control. Use sunlight to your advantage with

automated shades. Convert harsh glare into soft and
pleasing light, while preserving your view. Adjust solar
heat gain to control indoor temperature and reduce demand
on HVAC system. .

Temperature Control. Adjust heating or cooling systems

any time of day, even while you’re away from home.

Appliance Control: Conveniently turn off standby

power to small appliances, such as audio/visual
equipment and computers.

ENTRANCE: When you arrive home

in the evening, you just need to press
the “WELCOME” button, before you
even get out of your car to brighten
up key entry points as well as specific exterior
lights.

While leaving the house, use the “AWAY”

button on the keypad to save energy by
lowering the temperature and light when you
won’t be home for a long period of time.

LIVING ROOM: Adjust the light of your

living room to your day to day activities,
such as watching TV, READING, having a
PARTY or just RELAX. You can also manage
your SHADES according to your needs.

KITCHEN: Your kitchen is the heart of your

home. It’s the place where you start your
day with an espresso and the morning
paper or create your signature dish. Here,
you will enjoy a COOKING mood whenever
you need it.

LUTRON pedestal Pico® controller on bedside
table, you can adjust the lights and blinds from

seeTouch® keypads & wireless Pico® controllers, and additional
control via Apple iOS Devices. Whole automation system can be

Terms & Conditions:
• Taxes: Taxes as applicable at the time of billing (Relevant Taxes is being considered as
shown in the pricing section).

• Payment terms:
o 50% of the project cost towards engaging on project and to share the design and to
co-ordinate with site team and to monitor the progress.
o 50% in Balance (less project advance) for Automation units before delivery of
materials.
o Installation-50% advance and balance 50% against completion of pro-rate basis.

• Delivery period:
o 6 to 10 weeks from the date of order confirmation along with the advance
payment for full supply.

• Warranty/ Maintenance:
o Equipment warranty/ maintenance- 8 years limited warranty from the date of
delivery of goods.
o Warranty terms as per manufacturer's specification.
o Maintenance- first 12 months at no cost, after which the customer will pay service
charges as and when assistance is needed unless a maintenance contract is
executed.

• Design:
o There shall be maximum of 12 on site visits for site monitoring and coordination.
o In case of delay in procurement of material (within one year of the project initiation
or order) or short close or cancellation then 20% of the solution cost shall be adjust
towards the consulting, design, monitoring and side coordination charges. However
this is not applicable if the project continues and comes to logical end on the
agreed project volume or above.
o

Terms & Conditions:

• Installation:
o costs quoted above for installation is applicable only for tasks directly related to
installation of our equipment; Any additional tasks such as electrical, cabling,
conduiting, cable raceways, scaffolding, power, carpentry and other civil works
need to be done by Client representative are nominated MEP contractor as per our
requirement (Input/ Drawing).

o Electrical power provided to the equipment needs to be free of surge and has to
meet acceptable voltage specifications and should be backed up with the UPS.

 o The cabling will be performed by the client's electrician with our technical
assistance; cables will be provided by the customer directly unless otherwise agreed
with Thar Technologies.

• Validity of the quote: 30 days from the date that this quote is submitted

• General: order once placed cannot be cancelled under any circumstances and all
payment shall be non-refundable basis; All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts
in Bangalore only.
