    This amendment provides revisions to the tolerances table in IS 3989:2009 for centrifugally cast iron spigot and socket soil, waste, ventilating and rainwater pipes. It substitutes '+3.5' for '±3.5' in row 2 column 4, and '+4.0' for '±4.0' in row 3 column 4. It also adds a new row for dimension DE with values of '200', '±4.0' and '+4.0' in columns 2, 3, and 4 respectively.
