CBG Monitoring- REY Alcohol Swab
Dry cotton balls
Clean gloves
5-10 pcs. - Sterile lancets

Insulin Preparation:  2-3 Insulin syringe,


Mixing Insulins Into 1 1 pair clean gloves,
Syringe- REY Cotton balls with alcohol,
20 ml NSS for injection labeled as Humulin N (preferably
glass vial)
20 ml NSS for injection labeled as Humulin R (preferably
glass vial)
Administering Prepared medication 22 units of insulin (10 Regular & 12
Subcutaneous Injection: NPH during the insulin prep checklist Cotton balls with
Insulin alcohol
Administration: REY Empty water bottle with cap (Serves as sharps container)
Clean gloves

Casting : REY 1-Doll (10 – 12inches Tall Hard plastic or alike)
Pair of clean gloves
1 disposable cup
Pair of Scissors
IM and ID injection 3 x 3 cc syringe
3 x 1 cc syringe (tuberculin)
2 x 25 G needle
Containers with wet/dry cotton balls
1 x NSS 100 ml bottle
P.S. We prefer NSS over sterile water for injection because it is less painful
