COURSE DESIGN

Setiap level terdiri dari 20 pelajaran dengan durasi 90 menit. The four levels are beginner,
elementary, intermediate and advance.

Level 1 Course Outline

In level 1, you will build your Indonesian foundation by learning the most crucial words and language
structures to communicate effectively. By the end of this course, you should be able to:

 master an estimate of 500-1000 common Indonesian words

 pronounce any Indonesian word correctly
 understand common expressions and phrases in every use
 understand and respond simple conversations about introduction, shopping, prices,
direction, and describing people and place.

Level 2 Course Outline

In level 2, you will take your Indonesian from the basic to the next level. You will still learn daily use
words and phrases that you can use in your daily life. At the end of this course, you should be able
to:

 Master an estimate of100-2000 common Indonesian words

 Understand general ideas of discussions on familiar topics such as travelling, jobs, daily
activities, and so on.
 Handle most situations in place where only Indonesian is spoken
 Express your opinions about familiar topics and something you are interested in

Level 3 Course Outline

In level 3, you will enhance your Indonesian proficiency while brushing up your language skills that
you are already familiar with. At the end of this course, you should be able:

 Master an estimate of 2,000-3,000 common Indonesian words

 Understand main ideas of technical discussions on various topics
 Communicate with native speakers with a degree of spontaneity and fluency
 Express your opinions in a clear manner on various subjects

Level 4 Course Outline

In level 4, you not only build up your language mastery but you also will go deep into the studies of
the country. You will be immersed into a discussion about Indonesian news, current events, politics,
education, and so on. This class is on-going, and the length depends on your needs and will. To
master Indonesia to native-like level, it takes various length of time depending on your
circumstances. At the end of this course, you should be able to:

 Master more than 3,000 essential Indonesian words

 Understand the main ideas of complex speeches and texts about various topics
 Express your opinions in a clear and detailed manner and give both positive and negative
sides of various options.
 Use language effectively and fluently in everyday, academic, and professional situations
