Welcome Remarks

INSTALLATION PROGRAM
April 26, 2023

Patience is a virtue for those who can wait, while humility is putting your accomplishments into
perspective. These two virtues work in congruence perfectly in today’s celebration. It is a
reminder that everything works perfectly in God’s omnipotent plan.

The installation today of Miss Mina is long been overdue for she waited this to happen for a
very long time, but as I have said things will come to those who can wait and humble enough
for everything has its reasons, God has its own plan and that plan finally comes to fruition
today.

Before we come to the core of this momentous occasion allow me to welcome our dignitaries:
A true leader, an educator by heart, a true Abrenian, and possesses all the highest
accolades possible, and the highest dignitary we have today, Dr. Amador Garcia Sr, CESO VI our
Schools Division Superintendent.
The think tank of the schools’ division of Abra, the ever smiling and very accommodating
Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division Maam Hedwig M. Belmes
To the heartthrob, the acronym wizard of the division and our PSDS Sir Leonardo Balneg
To the ever supportive local chief executive and working with the mantra “aramid
pakakitaan” hon. Mayor Tyron Christopher R. Berona
The chairman on Communication and Education Hon. Baltazar C. Berona
To the shepherd of the flock, our spiritual leader and keeper of the vineyard Rev. Fr Jeffrey
B. Bueno.
To the different stakeholders, parents, teachers, friends, ladies and gentlemen
In behalf of the teachers, teaching staff and pupils of Pilar Central School, allow me to welcome
you in today’s installation program.
Today’s installation program is very different compared to the past installations. In the
past, we install principals coming from different districts or places, but today, we are witnessing
the installation of our very own, an alumna and resident of this same place where our school is
situated.
Thus, it is of great humility and pride, that finally we have a principal of whom we can
say one of us, one who belongs to us and hopefully one who can bring this institution forward,
to the pedestal it truly deserves.

Before I end, let me give my unsolicited advise which I rephrase from Albert Camus,
Maam San, if you walk behind us, we may not lead, If you walk in front of us, we may not
follow,. Just walk beside us and we be friends and move forward as one.

Once again welcome and your indulgence is what we ask for, for any shortcomings or
inconveniences you may encounter while your stay with us.
