dad about fixing her computer and he gets her a new one and she starts getting all into it, taking it apart and all this shit. and then she gets like this super
rare part or someshit like that. Then she goes to talk to some fucking kids at an underage club/venue/bar place and they're all like "Y- you're her right?"
and she doesn't know what the fuck they're even saying. Then some guy comes in with a gun and i think he see's her and kills himself or something, I
don't remember.

I'm sort of an animistic pantheist (or pantheistic animist?). The best equivalence I
can think of is Jedi.
>>19055026
You understood shit then.
Try to see under the obvious meaning.
Lain is MUCH, MUCH more than a girl who got a new PC and learns that She already existed in the Wired before She got into it.
>>19055066
Just tell me cause I don't wanna watch a bunch of shots of electrical lines buzzing around. That shit was fucking annoying. So she's what? A cyber
goddess? Is "the wired" (why don't they just call it the fucking internet) conscious? Or is the universe in the wired or some shit? Are we all the wired?
>>19055093
The Wired is EVERYTHING.
The Knights and his leader made a test, they created Lain Iwakura in the Wired and in Reality. But Lain had too much power when she noticed this, so
she could escape their clutches and become free. When she had her freedom she basically sacrificed herself to Reset the World, so we couldn't see how
the Wired was connected to the Real world.
At the end... we all are living the Post-Reset.
She's out there but... lost. Just some of us were able to find Her again and remember the World as it was Pre-Reset. But now we need help because
we(Her) aren't(isn't) able to balance the World anymore.
>>19055111
What about her dad and the rest of her family? were they just actors? How did they make her in real life? so they made a lain sim and a flesh and blood
lain with genetic engineering or something? How is the wired everything if existence precedes the wired? (at least in real life, like... in the earth you and
me live in)
>>19055124
She was a true Hard-Light avatar(in my opinion).
The only true being in her family used to be her sister, and she was replaced when she noticed reality. Everyone else were programmed holograms.
Existence is the Wired, and viceversa.
We don't remember everything pre-Reset, just some stuff, and most of it is very confusing even after 15years of experience in Lainism.
>>19055131
Ok, riddle me this? Do you actually believe all that happened? Cause, and I don't wanna burst your bubble here, it seems to me like it's

i follow no faith. i believe in intelligent design, and so more or less believe there exists an omnipotent self aware force that gave everything order motion
and mass. believe in a spirit/soul/essence and that this unique energy signature that is your essence will go on to influence its surroundings until it
eventually again emerges in a being of its own again, this is reincarnation. and that ones path is their own to find, even if their is such a thing as destiny,
you have to be going somewhere to reach your destiny, lest you become stagnate and rot

Ok touche, but infinity isn't what you think it means. It doesn't mean literally everything and anything can/will exist/happen. If you have an infinite number
that goes 123123123123123 forever, you're not gonna encounter a 4. I don't give a fuck how long it is, if it just keeps repeating 123, you're never getting a
4. If you have an infinite sequence like 101001000100001- forever and ever, Even though it's infinite, you will never encounter '101' ever again except for
that one time same for '10001' same for '1000000000000001', because the zeroes will just be keeping the ones more and more far apart.... forever...
If you have infinite chairs, you're not gonna end up with a fucking couch. infinity does not equal infinite possibilities. An infinity only has the possibilities of
the parameters it's "designed" (if you will) upon.
>infinite universes means there's a universe where I'm riding a pink T-rex RIGHT NOW as we speak! there's also one where my father decided to stick
around and I'm not a worthless neet! there has to be! it''s scientific fact! pretty cool, hu?

>I am struggling between islam and christianism.

Those numbers aren't just infinite but Periodic.
Infinity doesn't mean that one thing will be Completely different at the end, just that it has the posibilities to be different.

lmao at all these people thinking they chose their religion. If you were born in a Christian country you have Christian values. That's why Islam is scary
even to atheist, because it is a slightly different value system that clashes with theirs. You don't have to believe in a bearded man in the sky to be
Christian. Even Satanists are actually Christians, Satan is Christian mythology.
I've been sitting at Deist for a couple of years now. I just believe there's a higher power that created the universe, which is mostly good enough for me.
I do use it as an opportunity to dabble into other religions, however, to see if they interest me or if I "feel" anything. Looking into the older pantheons like
Greek, Norse, and Egyptian, and seeing where that takes me. Nowhere, so far.

Good question. Jediism isn't very secretive, and there are many websites out there which house a lot of information on Force theory and practice. Many
Jedi don't believe in a mutable, tangible force which can be used to do things like telekinesis and lightning. But my own experience with practicing various
energy-based systems and attempting various acts of "Jedi sorcery" (such as the mind trick, precognition, and so on) points towards the theoretical
applicability of at least some aspects of the fiction.
Most Jedi I know who teach others (in the temple I belong to, a person ranked "knight" is allowed to take on anyone who has completed an initiatory
program, and after completing an apprenticeship the title of "knight" is awarded; usually this is a long process) will use individualized systems based
around the specific apprentice, and will suggest reading material and both quasi-academic and spiritual practices. Luckily for our community, Jediism is
mostly syncretic as a religion and as a result many well-accomplished occultists and mystics are available, many of them choosing to teach.
In my personal training as an apprentice, I was taught various meditation techniques. I think most Jedi practice Zazen or some variant of it, but for those
of us who want to take "using the Force" more seriously, things like Tummo, astral projection, kundalini exercises, qigong, etc. are common practices.
Over the years, something called the "Great Jedi Holocron" has been pieced together using things said by members of the religion as well as clips from
various books. There is a section in it for meditation and practical advice for Force techniques, though obviously all entries are subject to individual bias.
Still, it's worth a read (even at over 1000 pages). Here is a link to a PDF which is free to download (courtesy of Temple of the Jedi Order):

occurring inside the mind of god, it's not surprising parts of him are in all things. I don't really believe we have a doctrine that is 100% correct. I think
Hinduism has a lot of truths in it, mostly because their society has been spiritually focused and dedicated to meditation for a Loooong time. I do look up to

I believe that god is the source of everything. The source created our souls from himself and our consciousness is derived from him. I believe the reality
we are in is based on our own minds and that people through our connection to the source are quite literally the universe itself. I believe in reincarnation

Speak for yourself, bucko.
I'm Pagan, btw
Don't have a title, deist, maybe, with a bit of animism thrown in the mix. I recognize universal truths laced throughout antiquated texts of wisdom. I believe
in soul. I believe in spirit. I believe in what's good & righteous. I believe man's innate nature to recognize the untellable's signature.

>Not knowing God was Judas too.
t.Niles Runeberg
I believe in myself. Me and everything that exists are located inside the mind of the only one true God. I don't think any religion should be followed, nor
any of its gods worshipped.
I believe death is absolute nonexistence.
I believe the body is an independent
Biological machine, that we inhabit.
I am an antitheist

Eclectic polytheism with a focus on Kemetic deities and a dash of Thelema. I'm not really enough of a re-constructionist to call myself "Kemetic".

No. Have you ever met a black woman with an interest in Crowley's Law of Thelema?

Additionally, anyone who has ever picked up a fucking history book knows that the Egyptian empire stretched from Northern Africa all the way to Turkey,
and that they had people of different races moving into and out of the country all the time. Furthermore, archeological finds have revealed that Egyptians
as people could range from pale red-head to your typical Subsaharan African in appearance. Only a complete fucking idiot would "proclaim" that all
Egyptians were black.

Nope. Why do you ask?
It's really sad to see so many people with equally ridiculous ideas calling eachother's ideas more ridiculous. Why is God having a son
that much more ridiculous that God having a prophets? They're both equally unsupported and the "God's son" claim is just a little
more absurd. They both have no evidence to back themselves up.

This is what's good about most polytheistic beliefs. There are no "prophets" or any figureheads of that sort to worry about. There are only the gods.
Though there are still the priests who offer to appease them for a fee.
>>19068566
this. Christ, he even said it in the Roman-approved version.

I'm really torn between Heathenry/Asatru/Whatever the fuck you want to call it and Hellenic Polytheism. I don't really call myself anything.
