Good question. Jediism isn't very secretive, and there are many websites out there which house a lot of information on Force theory and practice. Many
Jedi don't believe in a mutable, tangible force which can be used to do things like telekinesis and lightning. But my own experience with practicing various
energy-based systems and attempting various acts of "Jedi sorcery" (such as the mind trick, precognition, and so on) points towards the theoretical
applicability of at least some aspects of the fiction.
Most Jedi I know who teach others (in the temple I belong to, a person ranked "knight" is allowed to take on anyone who has completed an initiatory
program, and after completing an apprenticeship the title of "knight" is awarded; usually this is a long process) will use individualized systems based
around the specific apprentice, and will suggest reading material and both quasi-academic and spiritual practices. Luckily for our community, Jediism is
mostly syncretic as a religion and as a result many well-accomplished occultists and mystics are available, many of them choosing to teach.
In my personal training as an apprentice, I was taught various meditation techniques. I think most Jedi practice Zazen or some variant of it, but for those
of us who want to take "using the Force" more seriously, things like Tummo, astral projection, kundalini exercises, qigong, etc. are common practices.
Over the years, something called the "Great Jedi Holocron" has been pieced together using things said by members of the religion as well as clips from
various books. There is a section in it for meditation and practical advice for Force techniques, though obviously all entries are subject to individual bias.
Still, it's worth a read (even at over 1000 pages). Here is a link to a PDF which is free to download (courtesy of Temple of the Jedi Order):

I'm trying to grow spiritually but I don't think I'm any particular religion.. I'm on my own journey I guess. I find beauty and truth in a lot of things, if this is all
occurring inside the mind of god, it's not surprising parts of him are in all things. I don't really believe we have a doctrine that is 100% correct. I think
Hinduism has a lot of truths in it, mostly because their society has been spiritually focused and dedicated to meditation for a Loooong time. I do look up to
Jesus a great deal however and go to church for the community of other people who believe.

i don't have a religion. i read a lot. i used to have a religion that was taught to me since birth. i realized it didn't make any goddamn sense so i stopped
conforming to it. i like Zen Buddhism, Gnostic Christianity, Taoism, and Chaos. they kind of make sense. music makes sense. nature makes sense.
