Where you will be based Shop

Why we want you

Our shops are very much part of their local community and volunteers help us make a
real difference to children’s lives. Joining a fantastic team of volunteers, you’ll be
helping to raise vital funds for children in the UK and overseas and telling our
customers about the great work Save the Children does.

What you will be doing

Welcoming and serving customers, including handling money

Sorting donations and stock
Making the shop look attractive, clean and tidy
Helping with promotional events at the shop
Following all shop processes, including registering Gift Aid donations

The skills you need

Friendly and welcoming

Sociable and can chat with customers
Able to handle money
Happy to be part of a team
Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks
