We contnuously strive to be beter each and every day. Thats why we wanted to hear
your opinion about working at ShopRite. This years Associate Engagement Survey
asked questons about your job, your manager, communicaton, customer focus and
other areas. It was designed to help us examine our management practces to be sure
that we are as efectve as possible.
When the survey results are in, (some tme in November) we will
share the results and create Acton Plans for improvement. These
plans will be the foundaton for positve change that will help make
our store an even beter place to work.

2014 Associate Engagement Survey
Reusable BagsEfectve October 25, 2104 the two-cent and fve-cent bag rebate
program will be discontnued. This program was designed to encourage our
customers to consider using reusable bags when shopping. Over the past seven
years, our customers have reused more than 321 million bags! Thanks to your sup-
port and partcipaton, our goal of educatng our customers and encouraging bag
reuse has been met.

It is an exciting time for us here in Liberty as we
have started construction on our remodel and
expansion! I am asking all associates to help the
customers as much as possible so we keep any
inconvenience to them as little as possible. As
you may have noticed, we have moved the
employee parking to the right of Dunkin Donuts
If any associate find any hardship with this,
please make sure you see someone from
management to review your situation.

Some people in our company are asking if we are
up to the challenge of running the store as normal
as possible while this construction is going on. I
told them that we are up to the challenge, as
that is what we do here every summer handle
the large increase in sales in this small store. I
assure you all that we will get it done!

Associate Appreciation Day was held on Saturday, October 4th.
We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and the food!!
Special thanks to Scott, Deborah, Taryn, Katherine, Anita and Delroy for
helping prepare the food. Next quarters appreciation day will be a holiday
