ANNOUNCEMENT
It is hereby announced for the information of candidates who have applied for the post of Post
Graduate Teachers (PGTs) (Group-B) in various subjects for Rest of Mewat Cadre in response to

Advertisement No. 31/2022 that there will be a recruitment test for the above said post. The
Commission has decided as under:
Scheme/Pattern of Recruitment Test will be as under:-
a) Total number of MCQs: 150.
(iii) 100 questions will be from the concemed subjects and

(iv) The remaining 50 questions will be from the topic of Educational

Psychology, Pedagogy, General Awareness, General mental ability,
Comprehension, Logical Reasoning and analytical ability, Decision making
and problem solving, Basic numeracy, Data interpretation and the questions

related to History, Geography, Polity, Economy and Culture of Haryana.

b) Time duration of the exam: 02 hours 30 minutes.

c) All questions carry equal marks.

d) Each question will have five options. The fifth option will be meant for situation
where a candidate intends to leave the question un-attempted.

e) One - fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

0 In case a candidate neither attempts a question nor darkens the fifth optiodbubble,
then One-fourth marks will be deducted for each such question.

c) The question paper will be bilingual.

h) The weightage of the written exam will be 87.5 percent and that of the interviews
will be 12.5 percent.

i) A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks in case of general

category and 45 percent marks in case of reserve category (including all horizontal
and vertical reservation cases), in the written exam to be eligible to qualify for the

interview stage. However, a maximum of two times (including bracketed

candidates, if any) the number of vacancies will be called for the interview.
