Accomplishments
The training on technical analysis provided participants with a basic understanding of
candlestick patterns and their significance in analyzing price movements. The task of observing
candlestick patterns and creating candlestick charts enhanced their practical application of
technical analysis. Furthermore, the introduction to PPM (Praedico portfolio Management) and
the business development task enabled participants to develop their sales and marketing skills
by promoting the product to potential candidates.

Challenges
1. Identifying the appropriate patterns and making accurate predictions proved to be a
challenge for some participants.
2. Finding suitable potential candidates for the PPM product presented a challenge. It
required thorough research and understanding of the target audience as the product
was highly priced to convince people to buy.

Questions, Observations &Concerns


Observation The primary focus was on understanding overvalued and undervalued shares using
the historical earnings per share (EPS) method, comparing price-to-earnings (PE) ratios, and
evaluating the price-to-book value (P/B) ratio. Additionally, the fundamentals of Tata Motors
and Maruti Suzuki were compared, followed by a price projection analysis.
Others
In our training sessions, the following in-depth details were given
1. Technical Analysis Training - The training included an introduction to technical analysis,
focusing on candlestick patterns. Participants gained a basic understanding of
candlestick patterns, such as doji, hammer, engulfing, and shooting star, and their
implications for market trends and reversals. They learned how to interpret these
patterns and make predictions about future market movements.
2. Candlestick Observation Task – We were assigned the task of observing candlestick
patterns and creating candlestick charts for one day using the high, low, open, and close
prices of ten different companies. This task aimed to reinforce their understanding of
candlestick patterns and their practical application in technical analysis.
3. Business Development Task - Participants were introduced to the PPM product by
Praedico, a comprehensive project management software. They were assigned the task
of selling the PPM product to at least two potential candidates. This task required
identifying potential customers, pitching the product, and emphasizing its features,
advantages, and cost-effectiveness.

Total time on the internship to date: 9 hours of training and 35 hours of research
Total hours on internship this week: 3 hours of training and 15 hours of research and
finding leads

and close of 10 companies and Pitching the PPM
product to suitable candidates and selling them.
