Education is crucial to everyone in the modern society.

Unlike before, when only boys had the privilege

of attending school and girls had to participate in choirs at home. You become a better person by getting
an education. Your identity and future are determined by your education. For me, both a profession
and a vocation are teaching. Profession because I want to become one and because teaching is my
ideal profession. I absolutely adore it. On the other side, I chose my vocation because God provided
me with cues to go for my life's goals and dreams. Additionally, now that I work as a teacher, I get to
know lots of kids with various personalities. Being an idealist, I think that teachers can make a significant
contribution to establishing schools as intellectual hubs for teaching and learning. We are viewed as a
facilitator in helping kids reach their intellectual potential. As an idealist, I concur that the school should
place equal emphasis on the students' moral and artistic growth in addition to their intellectual
achievement. In keeping with their idealistic nature, instructors are supposed to serve as intellectual,
moral, and artistic role models for their students. The best way to learn is by doing.
Why I become a teacher? It is because I have the passion and love for teaching. I want to educate
kids and help them become better people. A teacher is constantly learning new things. I think I have
the open mind that is necessary for teaching. In tertiary education, especially when you enroll in
education courses, the foundations of education are taught. I learned about the various philosophical
underpinnings of schooling from this. I was aware that philosophical underpinning influences how the
main goal of schooling is determined. On several philosophical foundation curricula, many philosophers
contribute their thoughts. They have various perspectives on truth, ranging from moralistic to scientific,
absolute to relative, and everything in between. Teachers must also examine their own philosophies of
teaching to determine where they stand.
Every school need educators who have the skills, information, and self-assurance to create a better life
and deliver an excellent education. Teachers play a crucial role in helping students develop into better
people. If we do not have a solid foundation, we cannot produce a high-quality education. Every school
is built on its teachers; without them, there would be no schools. Teachers are like pillars. Government
should encourage initiatives that promote improved learning environments in order to raise educational
standards. The Department of Education ought to fund teacher preparation programs and educational
infrastructure. To make sure that every child receives the education they deserve, we must support one
another. I believe that Philippines has a good quality of education. Every year we are able to produce
students that will be successful in the near future. This is because our government deploy effective and
efficient teachers every year.

According to Aga Khan Foundation Canada, rich classroom environments stimulate the mind and
accelerate learning. This means that we teachers should provide a learning environment that is
conducive and not so crowded classroom, but how it is possible in the Philippines? We all know that in
Quezon City, alone we have plenty of pupils but we do not have enough classroom. However, this will
not be the hindrance for us to produce a quality education. Despite of having plenty pupils and less
classroom we are able to provide pupils the quality of education they deserve. Teachers are creative
and resourceful and because of that, pupils are excited to learn in every subject. Pupils learn when they
see materials that helps stimulate their minds. They will learn if there were examples given and if they
will do the activity in their own. Why did I say so? I am a grade 3 Mathematics and Araling Panlipunan
teacher. I know my pupils well. Every lesson I delivered I will make sure that I have a PowerPoint
presentation or a video clip because I believe that it will arouse their interest to learn. I also give lot of
examples so that they will easily understand the lesson. In this kind of teaching strategy I am hundred
percent sure that the lesson was well learned by my pupils.

To sum up, in order to generate quality education, we need a solid educational foundation since this
will give students the mental, emotional, and physical abilities they need to develop to their maximum
potential and overcome any obstacles in their path.
