Problem Statement
For the problem statement People visiting the venues like
beaches, zoo and other parks are harming the environment and its
creations we had find the solution i.e Quick Earn Intelligent bin
which is reward based and has high durability. We are going to
make the advanced smart dustbin which we named QUEIB
Objective
• We aim to create a cleaner safer and more hygienic
environment and increasing the operational efficiency for
proper waste management.
• We aim to solve the problem of calling the concern authority
to clear the bin once its full.
• Through QUEIB we aim to target the human psychology of
gaining maximum profit and inculcate healthy disposal habits.
Proposed Method
The Quick Earner Intelligent Bin (QUEIB) is a proposed system
that promotes sustainable waste management by incentivizing
individuals to dispose of their waste correctly . The hardware
components used in this technology are Arduino Uno, Servo
Motor, Load Cell, RFID, Rain Sensor, IR Sensor, Ultrasonic
Sensor, LCD Display and GSM module.

Results Analysis and Outcome
• Users are given RFID cards with unique IDs registered with the system. When a
user disposes of their waste, they scan their RFID card on the dustbin's RFID
reader. The intelligent sensors in the dustbin then record the weight and type of
waste and separate it into dry and wet waste using a moisture sensor . This data is
then transmitted to the centralised database system.
• The centralised database system calculates the rewards based on the weight and
type of waste disposed of by the user. The prizes are then credited to the user's
RFID card,
• Reward Point =(disposed dry waste weight in grams)*2
• Reward Point =(disposed wet waste weight in grams)

Conclusion

Reward-based Smart Dustbin is an innovative step in achieving cleanliness and

effective waste management with the active participation of people. The proposed
concept of reward generation attracts people's active involvement in disposing of
garbage in the dustbin. It thus causes a steady shift in the conscious habit of
people for a constant long term.
