Statement of the Problem:

The purpose of this study is to Examine the Relationship between Budgeting Skills and
Academic Achievement among College Students at PUP Mulanay Specifically, the
study aims to address the following research questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.2 Year Level
2. What is the Academic Performance of the respondents for the 1st Semester?
3. What is the level of budgeting skill among college students at PUP Mulanay?
4. What is the academic performance of college students at PUP Mulanay?
5. Is there a significant correlation between budgeting skill and academic
performance among college students at PUP Mulanay?
6. What factors may influence budgeting skills among college students at PUP
Mulanay?
7. How does budgeting skill impact different aspects of academic performance,
such as grades, study habits, and time management, among college students at
PUP Mulanay?

By exploring the relationship between budgeting skill and academic performance, this
research aims to provide insights into the potential impact of financial management
abilities on student success in the academic setting. The findings of this study can
inform educators, administrators, and policymakers in developing effective strategies to
enhance budgeting skills and improve academic performance among college students
at PUP Mulanay.
