Based on Bachrach, D. G. (n.d), he studied how task interdependence influences the
importance of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in employees' performance, as seen by
the diagram. Participants assessed the importance of OCB in their overall performance appraisal
of employees after being introduced to a job/duty interdependence manipulation. The results
suggest task interdependence may influence the importance that evaluators give to OCB. These
results' implications are investigated. The diagram illustrates the researchers' conceptualization
of how organizational citizenship behavior affects employees' performance.

The organizational citizenship is the one who shows the behavior of employees in their
performance, and as they observe the importance of an employee’s performance, they will
encounter the type of behavior such as altruism, conscientiousness, leadership, individual traits,
and civic virtue that has certain effects on their performance.
