Audition Rules:

Eligibility:
The audition is open to participants from Class 2 onwards.

Song Language:
Only English songs are allowed to be sung during the audition.

Song Duration:
Each participant should choose a song that does not exceed a duration of 2 minutes. The performance should
be within this time limit to ensure fairness and efficiency during the audition process.

Microphone:
A microphone will be provided for each participant to use during their performance.

Karaoke Restriction:
The use of karaoke tracks is not permitted during the audition. Participants are required to sing a cappella or
with live instrumental accompaniment if they wish to include musical accompaniment in their performance.

Solo Performances:
Each participant should perform individually. Group performances or duets are not allowed for this audition.
Only individual performances will be considered.

Prepared Songs:
Participants should come prepared with their chosen song for the audition. It is recommended to practice and
be familiar with the selected song beforehand to deliver the best possible performance.

No Explicit Content:
The chosen song should not contain any explicit or offensive content, including lyrics that may be deemed
inappropriate for a school setting. It is important to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment during
the audition.

Respectful Conduct:
All participants are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards fellow participants, judges, and the
audience. Any form of disruptive behavior may lead to disqualification from the audition.

Attire:
Participants are advised to dress appropriately for the audition. While there may not be strict dress code
guidelines, it is recommended to wear something presentable and comfortable for the performance.

Accompaniment Instruments:
Participants may choose to accompany themselves with musical instruments, as long as they are able to play
the instrument and sing simultaneously. The instrument should be provided by the participant, and any setup
requirements should be communicated in advance.

Judging Criteria:
The audition will be evaluated based on criteria such as vocal ability, stage presence, overall performance, and
adherence to the rules mentioned above. The judges' decisions will be final and binding.

Note:
These rules are subject to change or modification at the discretion of the organizing committee. Participants
should adhere to these guidelines at all times during the event.
