Off the top of my head, the one that springs to my mind is definitely an

apartment in a high-rise building that I would love to move into.

In the past, right now me and my family are residing in a bungalow which is
quite small for my family. And I still vividly remember 4 months ago, if
memory serves me right. My family paid a visit to my uncle's apartment
which was so amazing I have to say.
That apartment was so spacious and had lots of empty rooms for
unexpected guests and even a balcony that I could imagine whenever I felt
stressed out or something like that, I could go on a balcony, have a cup of
coffee there, that would be an awesome way for me set my mind at ease
after a hectic day.
And maybe because that apartment was just second to none to me, I have
an intention of moving to another apartment but on the same floor with my
uncle’s.
And I have to say, it would be the right call.
Another reason why I would like to settle down in an apartment is because
it would be an ideal place for me to throw some overnight parties with my
friends.
Just to give you an example.

Whenever we go to my uncle’s house

We would have a whale of a time enjoying some parties, the ambience is
always super cosy and the chill-out music played in the background just
makes us unwind.

their face.
A place for playing sports

It is a second to none place for those who are a real sucker for sports as
they are equipped with a lot of high-end facilities.
Additionally, it is a stadium where a lot of competitions and sports events
are held. Just to give you an example, 3 months ago, there was a
basketball match of the hatinh basketball tournament when ha tinh won the
final victory.
It has been quite a long time since the match was held. I still vividly recall
the mind-blowing performance the Ha Tinh basketball team delivered on
that day. The final result of the match unfortunately slipped my mind, but it
must have been a narrow victory because their opponent team consisted of
many talented players.
However, at that time, I was super drowsy. My eyes were not fully open
and I did have to buy a cup of coffee to keep myself from dozing off
halfway. It was a rare occasion, so I just say it has no big deal to go the
extra mile to cut down on sleeping time a bit to catch up with such a
national event.
After that, many people even flooded the basketball court to celebrate the
victory in the massive crowds.
It was an unforgettable moment, which offered us a getaway from the daily
heavy work.
A time saw plastic waste
The time when I saw a lot of plastic waste on a beach a few months ago

It’s still vivid in my memory that that beach far exceeded our expectations
as it offered us a breath-taking view. However, there was one thing that I
was not really into when being there.

Basically, we encountered a group of more than 10 people and after having

a party there, they just discarded several plastic bags and bottles on the
beach, which was so irritating I would say

We did complain but in vain, those people didn’t care and just left the
beach. Even though we found it really bothersome, what we decided to do
was to clean all the mess by putting all the garbage in the trash bins there.
After more than an hour, we finally finished. I mean we gave back the
ineffable view to the beach.

After that, we were able to enjoy the awesome atmosphere there by

holding a small party. The ambience was really cozy with camp fire……..

A problem when shopping online
It was the time when I had a hurdle when buying a book online.
So I think you need to hear a little backstory.
It was five months ago, at that time I was quite tied up with work and study
as I had to prepare for sitting an Ielts exam and also had to undertake an
abundant amount of workload from my school, which made me extremely
stressed.
And somehow I couldn’t concentrate 100% on everything, having certain
repercussions for /adverse impacts on my study.

Luckily I was still aware of my own condition, so I tried everything I could to

ease anxiety. It’s still vivid in my memory that when I was surfing social
media, I encountered an advertisement of a book called “how to live a
healthy lifestyle”
It sounded pretty intriguing so I decided to call that virtual store and one of
the staff answered and she told me a lot of details related to that book like it
recommended several ways to escape from stress and manage time
effectively. Because of that, I decided to buy that book without a second
thought although it cost me an arm and a leg.

After a few days, I received the product and when I opened the box, I was
taken aback and really disappointed because it was a comic book inside
instead of what I chose. At first I thought it was a mistake of that shop so I
just called that shop again to ask about my situation but in vain.

They didn’t answer me and obviously I couldn’t do anything about it. It was
such a waste of time and money.
A busy time

Off the top of my head, the one that springs to my mind is definitely the
time when I was tied up with work and study and eventually I managed to
address the issues I had.

It was 4 months ago, if memory serves me right. I was really tied up with
work and study as I had to prepare for sitting an Ielts exam and also had to
deal with an abundant amount of workload from my teachers.
Unfortunately, I suffered from a bit of depression and somehow I couldn't
concentrate on my study which had certain adverse impacts on my
performance.

And to be honest, I didn’t have the guts to free myself. And I tried
everything to ease the excruciating pain that I had and for some reason, I
read an article introducing a bunch of tips for a hearty living. It’s attracted
thousands of viewers and I’m no exception.

It recommended several ways to ease anxiety and also methods to

manage time effectively.
Thanks to that article, I eventually managed to pull it together, escape from
that living hell and also tackle all the tasks that needed to be done.
And my productivity did improve as I got 7 in the Ielts test and had so many
exams with flying colours at school.

I have to say that it was a tough time for me and I was lucky enough to
overcome that darkest period in my life. For me, that article is like one of
the last few straws that I could cling to during those days and the useful
methods in that article would absolutely be taken by me in the future.

A time you got stuck in a traffic jam

Off the top of my head, the one that springs to my mind is the time I got
stuck in a traffic jam in Hà Nội.
First of all, I think you need to hear a little back story about the reason why
I got a golden opportunity to have that trip to Ha Noi.
If memory serves me right. It was February 3 years ago, and my birthday
was coming up. Because, I and my family were tied up in with work and
study for a long time , and luckily , at that time we had some days off from
work, so we wanted to make the most of it by going on a trip together. At
the end, we decided to choose Ha Noi as our destination.
Ha Noi is Viet Nam’s capital. Today, Ha Noi has become one of the most
populous cities in the Viet Nam , home to cutting-edge technology,
information, culture, and fashion, as well as a high level of public safety. I
have to say that everything in Ha Noi was second to none and
unforgettable but there was a time when i had to deal with congestion on
the way to West Lake and in fact it drove me insane as I had to wait for
hours and hours in a traffic jam.
There were a lot of cars and motorbikes spreading out every corner of a
street and the whole street was packed. I couldn’t do anything but opt for
listening to music to kill time and kick back and chill out while waiting in
rush hours.
2 hours later, we finally escaped from that living hell.
Actually, I would say thay, besides that terrible experience, everything was
perfect
We even gave it a shot with a new restaurant

TOPIC 1 : PERSON

Off the top of my head, the first person who came to my mind is A. Actually
he is my teacher and it is safe to say that, I know him pretty well. Because
we have gone back a long way and I live practically within walking distance
of his house.

If memory serves correctly, 2 years ago, I signed up for an IELTS class at

Galaxy English Center. Because I was a newbie, I felt like I was out of my
depth because I thought I didn’t have a knack for spoken English so the
first day at the center was a real chore. When I was worried sick that I
couldn’t learn English well , A came up to me and encouraged me to
challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone. He told me he would
be helping me as best he could.

When it comes to working. He always tries to come up with new methods

and creative ideas and he looks at everything from a unique perspective. In
addition, he is cool headed in every situation because he always weighs
up the pros and cons before making any decision instead of jumping to a
conclusion.

And as a teacher of an English center. He has a good head for this

language, I think he really knows everything about English like the back of
his hand. Sometimes I’m blown away by how much he memorizes in his
head.

Till now, he is still my role model. For all these reasons, I believe that A is
the most honorable leader that I have ever met.
Topic 2. Event.

Well, off the top of my head, the very experience that springs to my mind is
definitely the well-known restaurant which is within walking distance of my
house.

First of all, I would like to talk about the reason why I got a golden
opportunity to know about that restaurant.

The thing is, it was February 2 years ago. Because I and my bosom friends
were buried in work and study for a long time. And luckily at that time, we
had a day off from work. So we wanted to make the most of it by hanging
out just to catch up with each other as well as keep ourselves sane. At the
end, a friend of mine proposed to go to the restaurant named Late Flower
which just opened to the public a few days ago at that time. We had never
gone before, so it sounded like a total blast to give a shot.

And that restaurant far exceeded my expectations, every time we go there

we always have a whale of a time enjoying the party there. The ambiance
is super cozy, and the chill out music played in the background makes us
feel unwind. So you can imagine how lovely it is.

And I can remember vividly one time.

We were eating, and singing until one of my friends just came up with a
brilliant idea : We would play rock paper scissors , and the person losing
the game would have to sing a song in the middle of the restaurant . And
you know unfortunately, I was the person who lost the game. That moment
was so embarrassing to me.

And now, we always try to arrange a meeting with each other at least once
a week at Late Flower, which can provide us a getaway from the daily
heavy work.
Topic 3: Subject

Well off the top of my head, the one that springs to my mind is definitely a
simple yet powerful movie named The Messenger. If memory serves me
right, it hit a big screen 1 year and 3 months ago.

Basically, this movie is about the power of love. And as a reason why I’m
really impressed with this movie. So, first of all, I think you need to hear a
little backstory ...

You know, I was always a super confident guy(girl) who didn't have much
difficulty getting what he(she) wanted. I always thought of myself as
someone who is full of positive energy, and thus immune to any kinds of
mental illnesses. But I was dead wrong. Last year, I went through the
darkest period in my life, mostly because of the stumbling blocks I’ve
encountered in my study, and a toxic relationship that has been ruining my
self - esteem for more than 2 years. I felt as if everything was against me
and the worst part is that I didn’t have the guts to free myself. As you can
expect, I suffered from depression.

When I was aware of my own conditions, I tried everything I could to ease

the excruciating pain I had to endure. For some reasons, the Messenger
came to my mind. It's a simple yet powerful reminder of how important love
is for us especially for those having serious mental problems like me. And
that movie had tons of hilarious scenes then, I eventually smiled for the first
time after several days.
After that, I managed to pull it together and escape from that living hell. For
me this movie is not only a song, but also like one of the last few straws
that I could cling to during the darkest days in my life.

Topic 4: A trip

Off the top of my head, the one that springs to my mind is the time I went to
Seoul.

First of all, I would like to talk about the reason why I got a golden
opportunity to travel to Seoul.

If memory serves me right. It was February 3 years ago, and my birthday

was coming up. Because, my family and I were buried with work and study
for a long time , and luckily , at that time we had some days off from work,
so we wanted to make the most of it by going on a trip together. At the end,
we decided to choose Seoul as our destination.

Actually, even though it cost me an arm and a leg for the tickets and the
rent of the hotel. But Korea, especially Seoul, was the city that I was dying
to travel to. Seoul is Korea's capital. Today, Seoul has become one of the
most populous cities in the world , home to cutting-edge technology,
information, culture, and fashion, as well as a high level of public safety.
That is why everything in Seoul is expensive.

And for 3 days there. We visited a lot of stunning places in Seoul, tried tons
of awesome cuisine.

You know, the thing that I remember the most is that I even got a chance to
enjoy the sumptuous dinner at a luxury restaurant which was within walking
distance of Gyeoungbokdung, one of the most historical relics in Korean
ancient history. We had a BBQ there. The bill was 3 millions vnd, which
was super exorbitant for a young guy(girl) like me. However, everything
was totally delicious, so it’s worth it.
When I came back to Vietnam, although I was 100% broke, the whole trip
was enlightening which offered us a getaway from the daily heavy work so I
just wish I could have more time and money to stay there because there
are definitely a lot of amazing places in Korea that I haven’t discovered yet.
